Triceratops.
Lookingattheskullbonesof
TriceratopsandTorosaurusitisclearly
evidentthattherearesimilaritiesand
dierences.AccordingtoScannella,
thedierencesareexplainedbythe
dierentdevelopmentalstagesofthe
reptile.Itiskindoflikehowadulthumanskeletonsaredif-
ferentfromteenagers,hesays.
Yet,Longrichvehementlydisagrees.Hesaysforthisto
betrue,researchersshould have found at least some exam-
ples of skulls in various morphological stages by now. When
youndhumanbones,forexample,youndbonesfrom
babiestoadultsandeverythinginbetween.Iftherereally
wasatransformationfromonetotheother,wewouldnd

reallyhardtobelievethatwejusthaventfoundthem.
Didyoucatchthat:Hereisanevolutionistadmitting
thattobelievethatTriceratopsgrowsintoanadultwith
dierentbonestructure,theremustbetransitionalfossils.
Withoutthemthetheoryfallsapart.
Yet,ifyouweretoaskanypaleontologistifhebelievesin
thetheoryofevolution,hewouldprobablythinkyouwere
crazyforevenasking.
Buthereistheproblem.Despitehundredsofyearsof
searching,andmultiplemillionsofspentman-hours,there
hasneverbeenasingleconrmedtransitionalfossilfound.
Notone.Nada.Zip.
Ifevolutionarytheorywastrue,thereshouldbemillions
andbillionsoftransitionalfossilsshowingeverysingle
stageofgradientinevolutionarytransitionforeverysingle
animalalivetodayorthathaseverlived.
Butthefossilsarentthere.
Iftherearenobonesoftransitionalspecies,therecanbe

Withrespecttothethreatofanuclear-armedIran,Mr.
Obamamaintainedthatheisleavingeveryoptiononthe
tableincludingthethreatofmilitaryintervention.And I
mean what I say,hesaidat.iv.c.
Twodayslater,however,hetoldreportersthathedidnt
reallymeanwhathesaidonSunday.Itwasnotamilitary
doctrinethatwewerelayingoutfor
anyparticularmilitaryaction.
EveninSundaysspeech,ifyou
leaveouttheblusterabouthaving
Israels backandleaving all the options
on the table,youcanclearlyseehow
committedthispresidentistodiplo-
macy alonewhendealingwiththe
threattoIsraelsveryexistence.
Irmlybelievethatanopportunity
stillremainsfordiplomacybackedbypressuretosuc-
ceed,thepresidentsaid.TereisstilltimeforIransleaders
tomaketherightdecision,heinsisted.Aferall,theonly
waytotrulysolvethisproblemisfortheIraniangovern-

IslamicregimeinTehranhasbeenwrittenwiththebloodof
manythousandsofJewsnottomentionAmericans.

diplomats,targetedcivilians,hijackedplanesandships,
stonedwomenandusedchildrenashumanshieldsonthe
battleeld.ItsleadersopenlydenytheHolocaust,blame

comingdestructionofIsrael.
Iranisalsothenumberonestatesponsorofterror-
ism.ItsproxieshavemurderedandmaimedU.S.soldiers
onbattleeldsinLebanon,Iraq,Afghanistanandwho

right,itsaduckbutthisduckisanuclearduck.
Ofcourse,thebestoutcomewouldbeifIranwillingly
abandoneditsnuclearweaponsprogram,Netanyahuadded.
Butithasnthappened!For:oyears,theinternationalcom-
munity,ledbytheUnitedStates,hastrieddiplomacy.Forthe
pastsixyears,theWesthasappliedsanctions,onlytohave
themunderminedbynationslikeRussia,ChinaandJapan.
None of it has worked.
TeprimeministerthenlaidouthiscaseforanIsraeli
strikeonIran:Israelhaswaitedpatientlyfortheinterna-
tionalcommunitytoresolvethisissue.Wevewaitedfordi-
plomacytowork.Wevewaitedforsanctionstowork.None
of us can aord to wait much longer.Asprimeministerof
Israel,Iwillivivletmypeopleliveundertheshadowof
annihilation.
Despitethecampaignrhetoricwecanexpectfromthe
Obamaadministrationoverthenextninemonths,these
two.iv.cspeeches,alongwiththeeventsofthepastthree
years,illustratejusthowwidetheideologicaldivideis
betweenIsraelandtheUnitedStates.
Tisreality,prophesiedintheBible,is
settingthesceneforadramaticescalationin
end-timeevents.InZechariah::::,Godsaid
Hewouldbreakthebrotherhoodbetween
Judah[modern-dayIsrael]andIsrael[pri-
marilytheUnitedStatesandBritain].
Israelmaytrytogoitaloneforalittlewhile.
IfIsraeldoesstrikeIran,however,wecanbe
certainthatitwillnotbesuccessfulinelimi-
natingtheIranianthreat.Whetherittakesac-
tionornot,wecanexpectIrantoonlygrowmorebelliger-
entandpushiereectivelybringingonamoreseverecrisis
downtheroad.AnIsraelistrikemaybuytheJewssome
timeoritmayhastentheIslamistpushforJerusalem.
Ultimately,Bibleprophecyreveals,Israelwillseekoutside
helptocounteritsradicalIslamicenemies.Butitwontlook
totheU.S.NumerouspropheciespointtotheJewishnation
goingtotheAssyrians(studyGermany and the Holy Roman
Empireforproofofwhotheyaretoday)forprotectioninthe
endtime.Hosea,forexample,talksofJudahsendingtoKing
JarebofAssyriaforhelp(Hosea,::,).Ezekielprophesiesof
JerusalemdotingontheAssyriansaslovers(Ezekiel:,).
TeevidentdividebetweentheleadersofAmericaand
Israel,asdemonstratedintheirrespective.iv.cspeeches
thisweek,furthersetsthescenefortheJewstolook
elsewhereforsupport.Forsometime,Germanyhasbeen
growingmoreactiveintheregion,andrelationsbetween
thetwocountrieshavebeenimproving.Wecanexpect
Israeltomovefurtherinthisdirectionasitbecomesmore
desperateanditsrelationswithAmericacontinuetofray.
TeJewsneedforaprotector,however,isitselfaresultof
theirtrueproblemwhenitcomestotheirsafety:Teywill
nottrustGodtoprotectthem.StandinguptoIrannowand
goingitalonewillnotsolvetheirproblems.EvenifWashing-
tonsupportedthem,theirproblemswouldnotberesolved.
Andultimately,goingtoGermanyforhelpwillbackreina
spectacularway.
