2001 SC Grup Feroviar Roman starts its activity as a shunting
operator
2002 Enters the railway transport market


20022005 Extends its market share in the transport of petroleum
products; railway services are performed for important
companies such as PETROM, CONPET and RAFO.


2005 Starting with this year, GFR gives a special attention to
the transport of bulk freight in open wagons and begins
the collaboration with important companies in the
construction, mining metallurgy industries: HOLCIM,
Lafarge, ArcelorMital, Compania Nationala a Huilei etc.
May 2006 Starts the international freight railway transport


2007 GFR is already performing transports through all the
border stations in the West and South
April 2008 GFR begins the performing of the international transports
through the Northern border of the country, being the first
private operator in Romania that has collaboration
relations with the Ukrainian Railways.

BRC has reached the market share of 10,08 % for the freight ton per km
on railway infrastructure on the territory of Bulgaria in 2007.
It is expected that BRC reaches 15 % of the market share for the freight
railway transport in Bulgaria in 2008.
The latest reports show that BRC in 2009 it reached the market share
estimated the previous year.

Our company has been founded on 27 October 2005, at our headquarters in
Debrecen, having as purpose the performance of railway freight transport. We
have received the license for railway transport on 10 January 2006. the major
shareholder of our company is GRAMPET S.A. Romania. In 2006, the
company has been involved especially in the construction of railway lines, but,
besides this fact, we also transported 80.000 tons of freight inside Hungary.
We can provide our customers with a wide range of services:
Dispatchment of block-trains and other trains, assuring the transport
equipment;
Organization/ forming of block-trains assuring also the couchettes and the
transport equipment;
Performing special transport activities (convention);
Cooperation with the railway transport companies in the neighboring,
negotiating the transport activities as a whole.
We have valid contracts with the border stations;
Negotiating the destination and the routes of the transports;
Providing the services of mounting the tracks, side tracking at the location of
the building, gravel transport, sleeping wagon, long lines etc.
We are ready to provide fast and flexible services to all our customers and
partners. We are trying to decrease the dispatchment time of the freight train
as much as possible. We have established basis conditions so that we can
assure the best services for our customers, and using them we are able to offer
own and contracted transport equipment in a short time period and at a
competitive price.
