Rnd 1: Work 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook = 5 sc
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc = 10 sc
Rnd 3: *Sc in first sc, 2 sc in 2nd sc*, repeat from * around = 15 sc
Rnd 4: *Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 20 sc
Rnd 5: *Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 25 sc

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. You will use this piece of yarn to
sew the head on to the body. Stuff head - Do not sew opening closed.

Eyes: (Make 2)
With White Yarn, Ch 2
Rnd 1: Work 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook = 5 sc
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc = 10 sc
Rnd 3: *Sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat from * around = 15 sc
Rnds 4-6: Sc in each sc around
Rnd 7: *Sc in first sc, sc 2tog*, repeat from * around = 10 sc
Fasten off, leaving a tail long enough for sewing.

Assembling The Head:
1. Position and insert safety eyes in center of crocheted eyes.
2. Stuff crocheted eyes lightly.
3. Position crocheted eyes and sew on head.
4. With black embroidery floss and sewing needle, sew mouth.

Head is done.

Body:
Ch 2
Rnd 1: Work 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook = 5 sc
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc = 10 sc

Fasten off, leaving a tail long enough for sewing. Stuff arms, do not sew
opening closed. Sew arms on body. Weave in yarn.

Legs: (Make 2)
Ch 2

Cookie Filling:
With White Yarn, Ch 2

Fasten off.

To Assemble Cookie:
1. Lightly stuff white filling.
2. Place stuffed side down on one cookie.
3. Thread yarn from cookie through needle and sew the edges of the cookie
on to the filling.
4. Place second cookie on top of filling.
5. Thread yarn from second cookie through needle and sew the edges of the
cookie on to the other side of the filling,
6. Weave in yarn, except for one strand from cookie.
7. Thread the remaining strand of yarn through needle and sew cookie on
Cookie Monster.
8. Weave in yarn.


Cookie Monster is done! He measures 5 tall.
