3. Reading and Approval of Last Meetings Minutes
No minutes were present to be reviewed.

4. State of the Organization Jason Singson, President:
Jason Singson announced that FBLA will be partnering with Moorpark Key Club for
the Make a Wish Foundation Project. Moorpark FBLA is still participating for Gold
Seal.

5. Report of the Advisor Peter Daland, Advisor:
No report was given.

6. Report of the Officers:
a. Competitions Nathan Le, Vice President of Competitions
Nathan Le, Michael Ayers, and Jason Singson have been working on information
packets for each competition. These packets are planning to be passed out to members
on November 5th. It was suggested to have testing for each competition on November
17
th
and 18
th
and for it to possibly carry on into December. Jason informs the officers
that Mr. Daland is planning on reserving a classroom for after-school testing and
suggest to have a sign-up sheet started.

Action: Jason Singson motions to have a sign-up sheet for officers for after school
testing. The motion passed 11-0.

b. Membership Kevin Nguyen, Vice President of Membership
Kevin Nguyen was not present to give a report on membership. Jason voices that
membership acceptance will close on January 23
rd
.

c. Financial Update Arvind Gouttumukkala, Treasurer
Arvind Gouttumukkala was not present to give a financial update, but one was emailed
to Mr. Daland by the Moorpark Student Store.

7. Unfinished Business:
a. Fundraisers
Jason says that the organization needs to begin fundraisers and emphasizes that the
amount in the account now, about $900, will not be enough for state. He suggests
participation in a cookie dough fundraiser or IPad raffle.

8. New Business:
a. Deposit LDI Money:
The LDI money will be deposited by October 31
st
.
Action: Jason Singson motions to send to out a $2373 LDI Requisition to
California FBLAs Theresa Hagelbarger. The motion passed 11-0.

b. Goes Green Individual Project:
The FBLA Goes Green Project is only available to 9
th
and 10
th
graders. Reshmika
Ramesh will contact Underwood Farm for opportunities to help the project.

Gold Coast Project: FBLA Snapshots Month 1 of 4 is complete.
