Meet Bart, a real Cardboard Hero
who wants to give you a big hand!
BARTS BIG
CARDBOARD
ART

Bartholomew T is a true cardboard
hero! At least, lots of kids in
Singapore think so. Bart makes all
sorts of giant cardboard sculptures
and leaves them in public spaces
for people to enjoy.

His masterpieces include towering
robots, giant rabbits, cool racing
cars, cute video game characters
and many others. He currently
works as a Creative Director at
Tri-Wall Creatives, and his job is to
entertain and educate kids through
cardboard workshops. Thats so
awesome!

He dropped by to share some
advice for young cardboarders.

BART SAYS: Im excited
by cardboard because it
is adaptable, flexible,
recyclable, familiar, and
easily available. Its a
great creative tool!

Its good to collaborate
with others. Sometimes
Im limited by what Ive
learnt in the past. Working with others actually
opens up my imagination.

Ive been inspired by cardboard artists like
Chris Gilmour, Horst Kiechle, Joseph Delappe
and many more. So many that I can't
remember all their names right now!

25
My big dream is to start a cardboard
makerspace, with unlimited supplies for the
public to work on their cardboard projects.

I really hope you enjoy my cardboard
creations, and maybe we can meet at one of
my workshops someday!

Do remember to check out Barts cardboard journey and
send him a message!
