Manchester United Soccer Club

Introduction

Manchester United Soccer Club (MUSC) is a football club located in Manchester, New
Hampshire.
Formed in 1992 to bring recreational players to a higher level of competition and preparing
them for state Olympic development program and higher school teams.
The club currently has 24 boys and girls (age from 9-16) on teams affiliated with Hampshire
Soccer Association and Granite State Girls Soccer League.
The clubs Board of Directors have decided to organize a summer invitational soccer
tournament to generate revenue.
Hosting a soccer tournament is a popular method of raising funds.
MUSC teams regularly competes in 3-4 tournaments every year at different locations in New
England.
These tournaments have been reported to generate around $50,000 to $70,000 for the host
club.
