Project Name: Supervalu SLC Retail Applications

Description:
SUPERVALU is a US based grocery and pharmacy retailing industry. It is a third
largest grocery retail industry in US. SLC Retail Application suite supports DSD (Direct store
delivery) process, STS (Store to store) transactions and Store Reports Maintenance, Order entry
and American Greetings Management, Ecommerce (Online order Process), Signs and Tags
Printing, Item information Management.
Responsibilities:
On call 24X7, Production Support to the system.
Modified UNIX shell scripts and COBOL programs to fix various bugs encountered and
to accommodate some new requirements for various systems as per the business requests.
Developed Unix Shell Scripts and COBOL programs to add new functionalities for
various systems as per the business requirement.
Developed Unix Shell Script to generate some audit reports and to send these reports to
mainframe. Implemented it through CRON scheduler.
Developed UNIX shell script and a COBOL program which solved the issues
encountered on item allowances in production. Implemented it through CRON scheduler.
Monitoring of jobs through CRON scheduler and resolve the issue whenever there is job
failure.
Research, Analyzed and Fixed permanently some of the frequently occurring issues in
regular production support work.
Effectively Analyzed requests came from client for various functionalities of systems and
provided accurate information to client within time.
Maintaining the service level agreement (SLA) of client for all the support work.
