SUMMARY OF Skilled Reservoir Engineer with more than 17 years

QUALIFICATIONS experience in reservoir surveillance, field development, acquisitions
and divestitures, exploration planning and decision analysis. Ability
to drive challenging development projects from conception to
execution. Successfully led a multidisciplinary team through design
and execution of a $100 mln subsea development. Extremely
knowledgeable in analytical modeling, numerical simulation, fluid
characterization, special core analysis, and pressure transient analysis

EXPERIENCE
Staff Reservoir Engineer – Reservoir Surveillance Focal Point
September 2007-present
 Increased reserve base by 7.5 mmbeq through thorough
technical analysis
 Led less experienced staff through a recommendation to
management for increased data acquisition. This will help
enable increased well interventions with a 6 month volume
impact of 1 mmbeq
 Aided in recommendation to increase chokes and perform
acid stimulations. This increased production by 11,900
beqpd
 Investigated and applied new technology for better and
increased surveillance data. SPIDR technology was used
with moderate success. Future attempts will be made. Fiber
Optic Technology was investigated and plans are to reassess
the status of development in smaller casing sizes in 2010
 Developed an opportunity list to better manage and prioritize
surveillance opportunities and reviewed with management
on a quarterly basis. This resulted in changing the well
services schedule to execute more profitable opportunities

Staff Reservoir Engineer – Ursa/Princess/Crosby Development

July 2004- September 2007
 Served as lead reservoir engineer for the Princess
Development. Lead team through the approval of a $110
mln subsea development. Gained aligned within the
partnership to development run pipe and completion criteria,
a tough endeavor due to competing priorities within the
partnership.
 Led the subsurface team though the update of the Field
development plan. This required a methodical subsurface,
drilling and subsurface review in order to understand and
optimize the remaining development opportunities.
 History matched the Above Magenta numerical simulation
model in support of increasing the proved reserve base by
4.5 mmboe SN, with an additional 3.0 mmboe in unproved
reserves.
 Managed partner engagements during the execution of the
Princess P5 development well
 Built a integrated production system model for the Ursa TLP
and subsea tie backs from the ground up to determine best
development options for future subsea tiebacks.
 Utilized HFTP, linking to dynamic reservoir simulation to
evaluate the benefit of flowline gas lift for subsea wells.
This work led an increase in Ursa/Princess waterflood
volumes by 20 mmboe.

Senior Reservoir Engineer – Exploration and Development

Subsea Development
March 2001-July 2004
 Gained project sanction for the Llano subsea development
by presenting dynamic model during VAR4 and closing out
action items in order to reach the Final Investment decision
 Led the successful transition of Llano from development to
production by overseeing transition documentation and
aiding with the analysis of the initial pressure build up data
 Brought Llano Phase II development through VAR2. Built
base numerical simulation model along with 21 variations on
the static model to determine the range of recovery
expectations. Incorporated the complex fluid description into
the analysis
 Performed detailed profitability analysis for the Sweet Pea
exploration prospect that enabled SEPCO’s participation in
the well. Well successfully drilled but found no economic
hydrocarbons
 Developed a scenario planning process during the drilling
phase of exploration wells. This allowed for quick decisions
to be made, thereby decreasing rig idle time. Other
exploration and development teams adopted this process.
