5 Pop Fiction Books To Read If You Loved SDG
5 Pop Fiction Books To Read If You Loved SDG
Sometimes guys just ask the wrong question at the wrong time. We can't help but snap at them and
suddenly lose our temper. When we're having a bad day, the last thing we need is thinking about a
good comeback for the worst question, ever. Here are 5 of them we never want to hear guys ask us,
especially when we're in such a foul mood.
1. "Do you really want to eat that?" You ask us after eating a bucket of popcorn, a bar of
chocolate, a scoop of ice cream, and while we're reaching for a bag of our favorite chips. Dear
guys, we understand that you're just concerned about our health, but there are days when we just
need to have a bite or two of our favorite food. For some reason, it makes us feel a little better.
Please allow us to eat in peace.
2. "What is that you're wearing?" or "Why do you look like that?" We know your knowledge
about fashion and beauty is limited, so please leave our clothes and how our face looks out of the
conversation. In case you haven't noticed, we tried hard to look good for our date.
3. "What's her name?" Do we really have to explain why this question irritates the life out of us
on all levels? You are with us and you are supposed to enjoy our company. Please don't ask us this
question unless you want us to poke your eyes and remind you that your eyes should be reserved
only for us during this time.
4. "What's wrong?" or "What's the problem?" What if we told you that you are the problem?
Will that make you recall what you've done recently to make us feel upset and irritated by your
presence? Or did you hit your head earlier that you already forgot that you were 30 minutes late for
our date or that you left us calling your phone 50 times last night while you played NBA Live like
cray?
5. "Are you okay?" or "Are you fine?" Please enlighten us on why you ask us this question when
obviously we look like we are not okay? Is it a way to start a conversation or just a way for you to
fill the silence between us?
We're not always irritated by these questions, guys, don't worry. Just please know when to ask them
or how to ask us about them. When we're having a bad day or when we're out on what's supposed
to be a wonderful date, we don't really need your judging and all-knowing tone. All we need is you
and your undivided attention for a few hours and we're good... and maybe a few scoops of ice
cream, too.

Guys won't always hurt you, girls, don't worry. They deserve credit, too. Guys balance you out
whenever you're getting a little too emotional over a lot of things. They walk into your lives and
give you a new way of looking at things, which actually helps. So here's to the guys, the guys who
changed your lives and made you a better you.
1. Your celeb crush. Whoever said that your celeb crush is an insignificant part of your life and
just someone you'll forget in time clearly didn't know what he was talking about. Your first celeb
crush will teach you to hope for the best (because you'll get to meet him one day, too) and hold on
when things get tough (those nasty rumors are ridiculous!). Your celeb crush will make you more
optimistic about things because someday, the odds will be in your favor and you'll get the chance to
meet him finally.
2. Your guy bud/brother. When you need an unbiased POV on things, you come running to him.
He's usually the one who gives you a logical explanation of things, drives you around and
accompanies you when there's no one else around for the tast, and fights for you when mean girls
and bad boys are out to get you. From him you'll learn to let the steam off first before reacting and
that things always look better and different in the morning.
3. Your first crush who didn't like you back. Yes, he's hurt you and made you cry and was the
first reason you woke up to ugly tear stains on your pillow. But he's also your first taste of pain and
heartbreak and the one who showed you that you will always survive those in the end if you just
hold on tight and never give up.
4. Your boyfriend. Of course. He will change your life in a million ways. He'll show you the
happy side of relationships and sometimes, the not-so-happy moments, too. But he'll also show you
that things will work together to make your relationship stronger if you just choose to.
5. Your dad. He has seen you throw a tantrum over a toy in the mall and watched you evolve into
an adorable and akward teenager. He may scare all the guys who want to be with you, but it's his
way of looking out for you. His are the tears and the broken heart you never saw when he knew you
started dating a guy for the first time or when some guy broke your heart. He'll teach you how to let
go a little and how you will always, always deserve the best.
