Abstract
The objectives of the study were to investigate the people political participation at Ratchaburi Municipality,
and study the factors related to people political participation at Ratchaburi Municipality. The 395 people who entitle
the voting residing in Ratchaburi Municipality were the sample of the study. The result of the study found that the
people in Ratchaburi Municipality has moderate receiving concerning the political information acknowledgement. The
understanding of democratic political system, the understanding of right, freedom and people responsibility including
the opinion of role of the leader were much level. The political participation, the election political participation the
activities in political participation were the moderate level. The analysis of the relationship between social and
economics factor and people political participation in Ratchaburi Municipality found that the personal factors such as

age, education, occupation, income and group membership related to the people political participation in Muang
Ratchaburi Municipality at .05 level of statistical
significance. The political factor found that political information
acknowledgement and the understanding of democratic political system has related to the people political participation
in Ratchaburi Municipality at .05 level of statistical significance.
