DHS will be holding a public hearing about the proposed long term contract with
Samaritan Village to operate the Pan Am shelter located at 79-00 Queens Blvd in
Elmhurst. The $42 million contract is for 5 years, with an option to renew for another 4
years.
The public hearing is scheduled for this Thursday November 13th at 10:00 AM at 125
Worth Street (at Centre Street), 2nd Floor auditorium, near City Hall.
You are urged to attend this hearing and/or present testimony with any concerns or
suggestions you may have with regards to this location. The City will provide
translators. THIS IS YOUR COMMUNITY! THIS IS YOUR MOMENT TO BE HEARD!
A charter bus is being arranged. Please contact 347-617-6758 or

We will meet in front of Queens Blvd. Elks by 8:15AM, the bus will leave at
