- Use to navigate

- In typing, use to erase one letter
at a time from right to left
- In windows explorer, backspace is
used to back to the location that
you browse
8. Delete Key
- In typing, use to erase one letter a
time from left to right.
- In windows explorer, it is used to
erase/delete file or folder

Recycle Bin
- Storage of deleted files
- If delete only, files that have been
deleted will be stored in recycle
bin
- If Shift + Delete, files being
deleted will be permanently
deleted and will not be stored in
recycle bin.
9. Tab Key
- In typing, it is used to provide
large space.
- In typing, if bullets are turned on,
it automatically change the bullet
character
- In windows explorer, it is used to
change selection

10. Windows key

- It is used to enable start menu
- It is also used as a keyboard
shortcut key
o Windows + L
Lock Computer
o Windows + D
Show desktop items
o Windows + M
Minimize all open program
and stored to taskbar
o Windows + Pause/Break

11. Ctrl Key
- Control Key
- Is used to invoke keyboard
shortcuts and other special
commands shortcut.
- In Typing, it is used to select
multiple letters at any location
without affecting the other
letters.

- In windows explorer it is used to

select multiple files or folders
which are non adjacent.
Highlight / Highlighting
- In typing, selecting letters or
images
- In windows Explorer, selecting
files or folder.
- For multiple highlighting of letters,
point your cursor to letter/word
that you want to highlight and
press and hold left click while
dragging.
