1. My job often interferes with my family and social obligations, or personal needs.

COMMENTS: 58.33% of the employees say no which signifies that the family and social life
of the candidate is not interfered into. In this particular job environment, the work pressure is
not causing very high level of stress within the employees.

COMMENTS: 58.33% of the candidates do nnot have a feeling that they have lost control
over their life and its proceedings. Thus stress levels are low where as 25% saying yes means,
onlyvery minor percentage fells stress.

COMMENTS: 58.33% of the candidates have responded to within may be, which signifies
that the candidates experienced medium level of stress when its come to meeting deadlines.
This impels that , candidates are interchanging between type a and type b personality traits.

COMMENTS: 58.33% candidates say that they feel guilty when sitting alone with no task in
hand. This means that the stress level are medium, implied by seniors. The work environment
is friendly and thus such a result is observed.

COMMENTS: 91.67% of the candidates are goal or deadline oriented, signfing type a
personality. Hence, they are more tone to stress full situations in the work environment.

COMMENTS: 58% of the candidate are too stress to attain whatever is being said or being
performed. Hence, they are not paying attention demanded by the individual in opposite.
50% of the remaining are towards may be and rest 50% towards no. Therefore we can
conclude that attention level of 50% of who are towards may be keep on fluctuating. They
are at times paying attention to whatever is being said and at times they are blank in their
minds. Candidates claiming no are always pertaining they are attentive and listening, since
we can say that they are preoccupied with their own thoughts.

7. Increase in muscular aches and pains especially in the neck, head, lower back, shoulders

COMMENTS: Every call in the call centre is a deadline, and every deadline causes stress,
and as candidates are not allowed to move out of their chair until their calls are successful
they keep sitting, which cause muscular pain in their neck, backs and shoulders. This is the
physical symptom of stress and we can see that a majority fall under may be.

8. I find I have a greater dependency on alcohol, caffeine, nicotine or drugs

COMMENTS: 66.67% of the people claimed to be not depended on smoking, druges,
nicotine and alcohol. Though it seems to being a biased opinion, it was clearly observed that
most of the employees openly smoked on the work floor.

COMMENTS: Since the work environment is friendly, which is seem form the above
remarks, it is not unexpected to see that the employees are often appreciated or supported on
their success. Hence a yes of 66.67%

COMMENTS: Since, they have certain deadlines and they have a person to meet them every
day, hence, it is natural that they do not and they should not

get much breaks and if the

higher authority is of a believer of affiliative leadership and they allow the followers to take
breaks whenever they want, the followers might take them for granted and do not take the
work seriously.

COMMENTS: Since, the employees working in a BPO are allowed to work in deferent shifts,
it decreases the stress levels amongst the employees and they are allowed to work in
preferred shifts.

COMMENTS: Since, this particular crowd of the BPO, experience same levels of stress and
difficulties, it is evident that the employees share each others problems and co-operative in
nature.

COMMENTS: In this particular BPO, the age group of the employees are almost similar;
hence the bonding amongst them is good. In case of bullying, there is immediate settlement
within them. This cannot be expected in a crowd of different age group in other
organizations.

COMMENTS: Since the deadlines, work presser, work environment and competition level is
almost same for all the employees, the friction and anger developing amongst them is on the
lower side, there might be times when friction levels are high but are mostly momentary.
Most of the times, friction levels are low.

15. I find myself thinking about problems even when I am supposed to be relaxing

COMMENTS: It is a contradiction to ans. 6. It is difficult to judge the exact belief of the


candidates. A certain percentage of candidates who said yes to question 6 and also who
remain between no and may be contradict themselves, makes this ratio equal. And we
can conclude in this fashion, because these two questions had similar type of problem faced
in different situation which demand attention, and another the opposite of it that is relaxing.
