Up to now, the total number of broadband users in the world has reached 410.9 million, of which
the DSL subscriber base is approaching 266.2 million. Such a big volume inevitably challenges
fixed network operators O&M capability.
According to statistics from China Telecom, the largest fixed network operator in the world,

g broadband access service saw numerous failures,, of which the failures from the network
operating
equipment side were 10%, 25% from the line side and up to 65% from the user home side.
But so far, there is no effective measure to deal with the failures from line side and user home side,
which are mainly handled by manpower now.
ZTE, as a major supplier in broadband access solutions, has been engaged in the R&D of
broadband access network intelligence. As an important part of broadband intelligence, the ZTE
EasyserviceTM, Broadband Service Support System, is dedicated to help operator cut down OpEx
significantly .
System Architecture
EasyserviceTM is composed of a series of functional modules, respectively namely: the broadband
service failure pre-processing module - EasyCSM, the remote terminal management module
EasyGateway, the PON maintenance supporting module - EasyOptical, the DSL line maintenance
supporting module EasyCopper, the terminal devices installation navigation module

and the home networking

EasyAssistant
EasyAssistant, the home network service terminal software, aims at handling
home-network failures, including the failures occurred in both the PC and CPE.
Via the self-diagnosis facility of EasyAssistant, the users can solve most of
the home network related failures themselves, thus greatly lowering the
operators O&M investment on this sector and further enhancing the quality of
broadband service.

EasyCSM
EasyCSM, the broadband failure pre-processing system, is designed to help
classify various faults, according to the diagnosis code users send, filtering
the home related issues and implementing the pre-analysis and pre-orientation
of other kinds of failures, such as the network equipments failure and the
copper line failure. Integrated with the customer service call center, EasyCSM
and other EasyserviceTM components together form a user-oriented unified
broadband service supporting solution.
EasyGateway
EasyGateway, the terminal remote management system based on
TR069, help operators to realize the remote management of home
network terminals, including remote terminal version management,
software upgrades, fault diagnosis, and other functions, thereby
reducing manpower-based on-site services, and improving the
efficiency of broadband services.
EasyCopper
EasyCopper, the broadband line testing system, helps
operators identify and position various copper line related
broadband failures. In addition, EasyCopper implements
pre-checking of the copper line quality and pre-analyzing
of the copper line
