It was Mr. Smith, a distinguished gentleman, who won me over that day. With every bit of class and
dignity that one would expect to see in a man on the streets of London. From the horn rimed glasses
to his perfectly polished bespoke oxfords. I was in love with his sophisticated style. The striped oxford is
my ode to Mr. Smith and the reflection of grace that I saw shining through the cordovan leather tips
of his gorgeous oxfords.

It wasn't immediately that I understood the method to his ways. I guess I should have known by the
way he straightened his shoes at the front of the door...facing towards the door, mind you. Maybe he
really loved his toecap oxfords so dearly that he couldn't bear to imagine them not aligned perfectly
next to one another waiting to be placed on his feet. Or maybe, well maybe it was the sign of more
to come. C'est la vie.

It was the last night of what seemed to be one of the most grueling work trips Miss Wright had endured.
A lady from head to toe with sophistication in every movement she made. Precisely calculated in form with
not a hair out of place or a kink in her step. So it wasn't exactly planned that night at the Lanesborough
Hotel in London when she bumped into him...serendipity one might say. I had to turn my head away
and let the moment happen.

There is something so effortlessly cool about the fashion on the streets of New York. From the supermodels strutting across the cobblestoned streets to the chic gaggle of girls gracefully balancing the legs of
swans in shoes nothing short of combat boots. Fashion made on the streets of the big city, that's true
style in my mind.

Paris in the winter is beyond magical. There is
nothing more spectacular than the light at dawn
during the first snowfall. I can still smell the air
and remember the flitter of the tiniest snowflakes
drifting down through the sky. How they would
slightly glimmer in the sparkle of the lights from
the Eiffel tower...just perfection. Oh Paris, how I
miss walking your streets in the winter, the memories are engrained in the sole of my heart.
