Our Vision
Expansion and Continuing Chapter Development
The Empower CRFV Team has a passion for teambuilding and has contributed to growing the
Republican movement, both locally on college campuses and nationally through years of
engagement.
This past year we have engaged with colleges and universities across the Commonwealth. We
look forward to continuing to be a resource for chapters, which drive the success of our
organization. With both the 2015 and presidential election cycles looming, the College
Republican Federation of Virginia must be prepared to fight for our candidates throughout the
Commonwealth.
College students are a key swing demographic, and with the right messengers and a strong
organization we will continue to be a force in determining election outcomes.

Grassroots
The College Republican Federation of Virginia, at our core, is a grassroots organization. This past
year our College Republican efforts helped ensure victory for every incumbent Republican, in
addition to assisting Congresswoman-elect Barbara Comstock. Without the work of college
students, Ed Gillespie wouldnt have dramatically outperformed the national political
prognosticators and nearly shocked Mark Warner. College students throughout Virginia
contribute to the backbone of the grassroots and our team will expand our efforts.

High School Youth Engagement

We have a tremendous opportunity to prepare future College Republicans by working with
existing High School clubs which dont fall under any auxiliary organization. We can improve
communication with high school activists and prepare them to join our ranks upon enrollment in
one of Virginias colleges or universities.

Community Engagement
We have an opportunity to strengthen both our Federation and the Republican Party by
engaging in local and statewide coalition building. This entails getting involved in our local
communities, with a focus on expanding engagement that had been lacking until recent years.
We also need to continue strengthening our Federations ties to existing coalitions.

Intraparty Relationship Building

Nothing is more important than building strong ties with the party structure. Our team will
continue building strong relationships with State Central Committee, Congressional District
Committees and local Unit Committees. Only by keeping these bonds strong can we truly work
to elect Republican candidates.

Inclusion
80% our friend does not necessarily mean 20% our enemy. Our team understands that we need
to continue building inclusive clubs that represent the full spectrum of the Republican Big Tent
and continue strengthening the Republican cause.
