and No Punishment.
Few Suggestions for the parents to make their children vacation
fruitful
1) Help your children to become independent by giving them responsibilities.
2) Inculcate in them good manners, healthy habits and respect.
3) Help to imbibe the feeling of empathy, affection and tolerance in your
children.
4) Encourage your child to read well. Ensure that the choice of books he/she
reads is purposeful while being entertaining.
5) Help your children to improve their handwriting.
6) Cultivate sportsmanship by encouraging your children to play various
indoor and outdoor games.
7) Holiday homework is divided into three parts
a. General Homework.
b. Project Work carries 5 marks and has to be submitted on or before
15-Sept to the concerned teachers.
c. Revision Worksheet to be done in the respective subject notebooks.

d. All projects to be done on A4 size paper.

General Holiday Home Work for Std V (2014)


Visit any one new place and write one paragraph describing as what
you have seen there.
Read any two story books and narrate the
story to your cousins back home and also
to your friends in class after your vacation.
Complete the projects in different subjects given by your teachers and
remember that you should do the same on your own with minimum
help from your parents.

grandparents, friends & relatives.

to revise your lessons for the assessments in
September.
