New Product Introductions

HP TippingPoint Premium Services with RepDV fixed and flex care packs for
applicable TippingPoint products. Add a TippingPoint product and the new
services can be found in Add-ons module.
Changes
Added power calculation verbiage for 12500, 10500, 7500 switch chassis
Note: The power consumption values presented are estimates. Actual power
consumption of an installed system may vary due to slight variances in
component tolerances and differences in actual voltage conditions as
compared to how these product-by-product measurements were taken.

IRIS Overview
The IRIS Configurator is a comprehensive and up-to-date pre-sales tool which
contains all of HP Networkings current product solutions and pricing. IRIS is
the tool of choice for both internal HP and channel partner personnel for
designing customer networks and setting up bill of materials in preparation for
customer quotes. Licenses for IRIS are available at no charge for internal HP
users as well as HP/HPN partners
Features & Benefits

IRIS enables solution architects, design center engineers and channel partners
to create accurate network solutions. IRIS validates and ensures accurate
configurations and has the ability to create large topologies including multiple
site scenarios. IRIS provides PoE power consumption data, a switch selector
and a protocol browser. IRIS also provides an add-on interface that
consolidates and makes it easy to select HP care pack services.

Registration Information
HP internal personnel can request access by sending an email to
jennifer.watt@hp.com Include your name, email address, HP Division, and
position.
Partner Requirements
Channel Partners must sign an Iris License User (LTU) before the registration
will be approved. Only 1 LTU per partner is required with no restrictions on
number of users per company. Channel Partners can either send an email to
Jennifer to request access or they can request registration information via the
Partner Portal.
APJ The partner must have an HP Partner ID
AMS
US, CA, MX & LAR Partners must have an HP Partner ID
EMEA Partners are required to have a valid HP Partner ID and hold an HPN
Specialization
