Working in the European flagship store has given me greater experience in working in a luxury retail
environment.
Dealing with customers has improved my people skills and communication, enabling me to constantly
provide high quality customer service.
Operating throughout the store has enabled me to adapt well to working with different people and in
different environments.

SKILLS

I have very good computing skills and am IT literate, having passed several Microsoft examinations
(Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
I have an excellent practical understanding of creative software such as Dreamweaver, Fireworks,
Photoshop and Flash, having used them frequently through studies and leisure.
Fluent in various computing languages such as HTML and JavaScript.
Fluent in WordPress having created many websites and blogs for a variety of clients including opticians
and pharmacists to accountants and fashion bloggers.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND INTERESTS

Photographing the end of year fashion show for the BSc Fashion Design students, in which they displayed
their end of year projects as well as photographing various other shoots and shows throughout the year.

Social media plays a huge part of my life and I am a frequent user of Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest,
Tumblr and Facebook, both on the go on my mobile as well as from my laptop.

Being an avid follower of the fashion industry, I created and maintain a blog,
www.sadiqalijaffer.tumblr.com, which I update regularly with new trends in the fashion industry.

I also have a keen interest in photography and upload pictures to my personal portfolio, not only those
related to fashion, but also those from my travels and university assignments.

I have participated in the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and have so far completed both Bronze and Silver
Levels, learning numerous life skills through the orienteering, camping and fundraising events I have
taken part in.

In terms of sport, I dedicated seven years to achieving a purple belt in Shotokan Karate and currently
captain a five-a-side football team, which has developed my leadership and man-management skills.

I welcome responsibility and was a Prefect throughout secondary school. This role involved bridging the
gap between the course leaders and the students in terms of communication.
