• Acceptance of minutes:
◦ From September 15 meeting: Accepted with the following changes:
▪ Financial Report: Change “Upper Valley Trust” to “Upper Valley Press”
▪ Land Conservation Update: Change “convey” to “sell”
▪ Land Conservation Update: Change “Conservation Commission” to “Town of Bradford”
◦ From October 7 meeting: Accepted as written
• Financial Report:
◦ The $8,755.00 amount payable to Redstart and approved for payment at the October 7
meeting was erroneously calculated. The corrected amount, $10,345.00 will be invoiced
and the check for $8,755.00 will be returned. Motion to authorize payment of corrected
amount to Redstart was made by Nancy Jones; seconded by Sandy Price; Approved.
◦ Current balances:
▪ BCC Budget balance $ 491.01
▪ Conservation Fund 58,982.95
▪ Friends of Wrights Mtn. 15036.99
▪ Compost Account 1106.33
• L.E.A.F. Update:
The following items were approved for payment / reimbursement:
A request for a $1000 grant from CVPS has come back to life. A motion was made by
Nancy Jones that, should the grant be received, the amount of up to $1000 should be transferred
to the Conservation Fund as repayment of the seed monies originally provided to L.E.A.F.
Seconded by S. Price. Approved.

Meeting Minutes : Oct. 21, 2009
Postponed until Nov. 4 meeting with expectation that specific recommendations will be
presented.
• Tire Redemption:
18 tickets remain out of the 40 authorized.
Request was made that a note be placed on our BCC Facebook page offering the
remaining tickets on a first call/first served basis to Bradford residents for recycling 4 tires at
half price. Pick up tickets at Hill's.
• CVSWMD:
Recycling company is at risk of going under and will begin charging for accepting
recycled materials as of Nov. 1.
Multiple options are being considered by the town. Barbara Kulzyk will contact Fairlee
to learn how they recycle their solid materials.
• Other:
No progress to date on placing a link on the “www.bradford-vt.com” site to the
Conservation Commission site Monique has developed.
