Terms and Conditions of Admission
You are advised to read and understand these conditions because they are a binding contract between you and the college. If you don’t
understand any part of it, kindly seek advise from the Administration Office before signing either by emailing info@ciclondon.co.uk or
by calling 00 44 207 733 3122
1. No student will be admitted to the college unless the Course Manager or the Programme Coordinator is satisfied that the students previous education or
experience will have made him/her suitable for the proposed course.
2. No student will be admitted to the college unless the Course Manager or the Programme Coordinator is satisfied that their main intention is to pursue the
required course to the end of the academic year.
3. The college charges administration fee to every student for each academic year. This fee is meant for opening and maintaining an applicant’s/student’s
records, and meeting the expenses of communication incurred during or before the start of their studies at the college, and is completely non-refundable. The
fee is also charged according to applicant’s immigration condition and physical position at the time of such application.
4. Tuition fees are charged to cover a complete academic year of your intended course with us.
5. All tuition fees are for studies reasons only and are non-refundable once the semester and academic year to which they are paid for has started.
6. Where the course involves an external program, the student will be required to meet such bodies’ enrolment requirements independently as the college will
only act as a tuition provider and will not honour any applications for refund if the student has failed to comply with such awarding body’s requirements. The
college however will assist the students regarding how to apply for registration with such bodies.
7. The college has to be in possession of cleared funds of your tuition fees to cover a complete academic year before you can be admitted unless otherwise
agreed.
8. No student will be admitted to the college unless Course Manager or the Programme Coordinator is satisfied that the student can meet the required college
fee in full.
9. Should a student be in a situation which may not allow them to meet the total coast of the administration and tuition fee before enrolment, they must be
able to meet the cost of at least the first semester’s fee and must submit a clear proposal of how the rest of the fee balance will be met, and possibly provide
references to guarantee that such balances will be paid.
10. Under such circumstances (as mentioned in term 9 above) the student and their sponsors must stick to the planned arrangements without failing. The
college will charge interest rate on any violation of such arrangements, plus any other costs charged for returned or un-paid funds by the student or sponsor’s
bank.
11. The college will terminate all learning services that affect a student who has not paid their tuition fee to cover the semester/academic year in question,
send the student home, and will not take any responsibility over such absence.
12. During such absence the student will only be recognized as part of the college’s students’ body for a limited period of time in accordance with our policies,
thereafter terminate the student’s contract with the college.
13. On termination of the contract, the student looses all rights to use and or represent the names of the college in any way.
14. The college will also be compelled to inform relevant bodies of such actions in order to be eliminated from any responsibilities of the student.
15. If the student wishes to resume classes afterwards, they must be able to pay off the entire fee to meet all un-paid previous terms covered within their
contract and the new one as well.
16. The college reserves the right to recover/demand unpaid tuition fee through legal action using external sources and the concerned student will be liable to
pay the costs incurred by the college to engage such bodies to recover the tuition fee in addition to the tuition fee payable.
17. Students who have got special permission to be absent from classes to attend to genuine pressing matters will still be liable to pay the tuition fees for the
term even though they cannot claim to have attended full course
18. The college takes no responsibilities or influence over the issuance of visas. Such decision is left to the United Kingdom Border Agency’s discretions.
19. By virtue of term 18, the college will not charge any fees based on any decision by the United Kingdom Border Agency.
20. Students whose application for visas are refused overseas, allowed appealing and have appealed can not apply for refund of tuition fee already paid until
the final decision by the relevant authority is made against the student wishing to join the college.
21. The college does not offer any immigration services except where compelled by law to do so. Students who may or will require more need for immigration
services are advised to seek services of immigration legal advisers or to contact the OISC for registered legal advisors near them. Local Citizen’s advice
bureau close to individual students may also be very helpful in identifying such advisors.
22. The college does not also provide refunds where the UKBA /BHC refuses to approve applications for students due to misleading information provided to
them by such a student.
23. Students wishing to change their status and have used the name of the college to gain immigration favours will be required to make full academic year’s
tuition fee payment for the academic year in progress immediately. Students who have already made such payments will not be entitled to a refund.
24. No refunds will be made when the academic semester for which fees has been paid for is in progress.
25. Refunds will not be made for non-attendance of scheduled classes
26. Only students who have paid full fees and have been refused visas overseas for reasons, which are genuinely not their fault, will be allowed a refund.
However, an administration fee of £250.00 plus a proportion of tuition fee calculated on a pro rata basis will be retained.
27. Students who have been refused visas for knowingly non-compliance with either the college policies or violations of previous visas granted to them will not
be granted any refunds and will be subject to pay the college fee in full or the academic year they have been or booked to be in class.
28. Students who knowingly provide misleading information to the college / government agencies including the immigration, or try to use fraudulent means to
obtain immigration favours, and as a result have their visa applications refused will not be granted any refunds and will be subject to pay the college tuition
fee in full for the academic year they have booked to be in class.
29. All refunds are made within twenty-eight days of receipt of a refund application form, which must be accompanied by a letter from the Immigration
Authorities to support refusal to verify leave to remain and a formal request of refund by the student.
30. Some refunds may take longer depending on the nature of individual applications.
31. Refund applications made after three months of the immigration application being refused will not be honoured, unless the student has evidence to show
they were appealing against the decision.
32. Once refunds are made the applicant looses all rights against the college including usage of the college’s name to gain favours.
33. The college may have to make such confirmation with concerned persons in order to be eliminated from any responsibilities over the student.
34. Students must attend all lectures. The college has a duty to inform the immigration officials where a student who has gained leave to enter or remain in
the UK has failed to attend classes without legitimate reasons. A medical certificate from a doctor must support absence due to illness.
35. Students who have missed classes without legitimate reasons will still be required to pay for the academic year they were registered for to cover their
academic year.
36. No student shall be allowed to transfer to another college once the semester is in progress, otherwise the total fee will be charged or retained.
37. Students who have gained immigration favours in the name of the college will not be allowed to transfer to another institution or change their immigration
status before the end of their academic year otherwise the full tuition fee will be charged
38. In the event of a student being dismissed by the college, no fee will be refunded, but instead the college will still charge them for the period they were in
class.
