Primary Responsibility:
To provide courteous, efficient and gracious service to guests in accordance with
the standards set by Amanpulo's Food & Beverage Department.

To be familiar with the Resort's facilities so as to provide guests with correct


information.
To perform duties in high spirit and to work in promoting team effort by
extending assistance in areas where required or appropriate.
To take initiative and learn to go the extra mile for guests, colleagues and
superiors alike.
To be familiar with the menu, drinks/wine list, daily specials, item '86
(unavailable items) to provide correct information to guests.
To stock the service/working station with clean and adequate number of
necessary flatware, glassware, chinaware, linen, condiments, and other
standard mise-en-place that should be prepared to facilitate smoother and
faster service.
To maintain cleanliness, orderliness and adequate supply of stocks /mise-enplace of all working/service stations, back lane/pantry area at all times.
To set tables/trays according to standard and/or according to the
drinks/dishes ordered by the guests.
To provide correct, efficient and unobtrusive service by following the service
sequences.
To anticipate guest's needs and to react to these needs to provide maximum
guest satisfaction.
To clear and buss tables correctly and safely by using a tray and following
proper stacking procedures.
To bring soiled dishes to the steward area and follow the decoy system.
To exercise care and safety and to be aware of breakages, spillage, spoilage,
and wastage at all times.
To reset tables as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
To polish all washed flatware, chinaware, glassware taken from the steward
area and to restock the station, back lane and/or pantry area.
To always report guest comments or complains to his immediate superior.
To perform side duties assigned by his immediate superiors.
To be well groomed, neatly and completely dressed in the prescribed
uniform.
To perform the opening and closing duties in an outlet as assigned in an
efficient manner.
To ensure the consistency and efficiency exchange of linen.
To fetch requisitions from the general F&B storeroom.
To write down orders clearly, neatly, correctly and completely and to place
the order in the kitchen / bar on time.
Appropriate operating equipment will set-up on table according in a manner
of service.
To ensure adherence to Resorts standards and procedures.
To be aware to house rules and regulations and the code of discipline.
To carry out instructions from superiors and follow through on them.
To always show courtesy towards guests, colleagues and superiors alike.
To attend daily briefings as required.
To prepare the check and present it upon guest's request.
To always report for briefing and work on time.
To attend training sessions when required.
