Often times, we reminisce about "the good ol'

days" where things were seemingly better. In the
advertising business one of the most successful men
was Hal Riney. Mr. Riney sold products by casting a
vision of the good ol days a time when things were
seemingly better.

In Ephesians 2, the Apostle Paul brings us right back to

the truth ofthe good ol daysand the way things really
were. We were the "Walking Dead, the zombies, who
were feasting on the passions of our flesh. But God
intervened with His mercy to give us a life in Christ. "So
thatas God's workmanship we would show forth good
works and walk in them. These questions need to be
answered: Are you the walking dead? or Is your life
an exhibit of the workmanship of Christ?"

Operation Christmas Child Results

Thank you for helping to send 340+ boxes! Please continue to

pray for all the children (and families) receiving the boxes and
for all those involved in the world-wide delivery process. May
God receive all the glory!

Thanksgiving Lords Supper

Join us on Wednesday, November 26, as we reflect in
thanksgiving on our Saviors sacrifice for our sins. We will have
Lords Supper at 7:30 pm.

Ladies Christmas Party

Make plans to join us for the Ladies Christmas party

"Wonderfully Made on Fri., Dec. 5, 7:00 PM. Cost: $5 per
person. Sign up today. Today is the last day to sign up! This is
for all ladies and young ladies (6th grade up). Childcare will not
be available so please make plans now for your little ones.

Youth Group Parent Christmas Meeting

All parents of students grades 6th-12th we will have a short
meeting regarding opportunities for your students to serve as
well as details for the upcoming Christmas Party. The meeting
will be held in the Youth Room right after second service on
December 7.

Christmas Eve Lords Supper

Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 24, as
we reflect on our Saviors sacrifice for our sins. We will have
Lords Supper at 7:30 pm.

Journey Off the Map - VBS 2015

Mark your calendars for July 6-10, 2015 for VBS 2015! Next
summer we take our kids to uncharted territory where they will
begin to understand that obedience to God can lead them
beyond the expected.
