General Information:

The City Council of Carmel-by-the-Sea meets on the First Tuesday of


each month at 4:30p.m., unless otherwise noticed.
The City Council meetings on the First Monday of each month at 4:00
p.m. in Workshop session, unless otherwise noticed.

Council Agendas:

The City Council agenda packet is now available for public review at the
City website at www.ci.carmel.ca.us and the City Clerk's Office on the
Friday prior to the scheduled meeting.

Broadcastings:

City Council meetings are available for viewing on the Sunday at 8:00
a.m. following the Tuesday City Council meeting or on line streaming
24/7 at www.ci.carmel.ca.us .

From the Harrison Library Board of Trustees:


1. Address, investigate, and mitigate the impacts of the increased use of the beach, including the
issues of events and trash.
2. Develop a strategy and comprehensive policies for the management and display of City art.
3. Taking into consideration the continually evolving nature of technology, monitor and revise the
IT Strategic Plan on an annual basisi in order to incorporate new and/or changing technology
needs of the City and its departments.
From the Community Activities and Cultural Commission:
Investigate options for closing the street near the Post Office to create a plaza for the community to
enjoy as per a recommendation in the 2016 Report
