4. DEFAULT AND INCOMPLETE TEAM

4.1 If a team refuses to play after being summoned to do so, it is declared in default and
forfeits the match with the result 0-3 for the match and 0-25 for each set.
4.2 A team that is not on the playing court on time or does not reach 4 players after 5 minutes
from schedule is declared in default with the same result as 4.1. (Addendum: (a) If after 15
minutes the team remains incomplete, the entire match is forfeit with the same result as 4.1 (b) A
late player may enter the on-going set but the team will be charge with a timeout.)
4.3 There may not be more men players then women.

8. SPECIAL RULES :
8.1 At least 1 of 2 hits should be made by a woman player before the ball is returned to the
opposing team‘s court. This does not apply if the ball is returned in 1 hit.
8.2 A ball other than the serve may strike one or more times on the ceiling or overhanging
obstructions and may still be played by the offending team as long as the strike is directly
overhead the boundaries of their court. However, no such ball may legally strike above
the opponent’s side of the net nor may it legally fall to the opponents’ court.
8.3 A player from the back row may block at the front row. This player needs to raise his
hand before each service to show his intention to block.
8.4 No libero play is allowed.

 12 regular season games per team. 13th week allotted for Playoffs.

 Team leader/captain must provide a team roster for the match to be submitted to the referee before the game.
(1.3) One of the players will be the team captain who shall be indicated in the score sheet. (1.4) Only the
players recorded on the score sheet can play in the match. Once the team captain or coach has signed the
score sheet the recorded players cannot be changed.

 All regular season games are played for 55 minutes limit with each set at 27 points cap.

 May add players up to 3rd week (still 12 player roster limit). Must have all forms completed and membership
fees paid prior to playing. Incomplete player registration results in ineligibility.

 Each player on the roster should have played at least 3 sets within the first 4 weeks to be able to play for the
playoffs (Weeks 12 & 13). This is to deter adding a player during playoffs that did not play during the
regular season.

 Teams that fail to fulfill the gym order and linesperson duties will be penalized by a 2-point deduction
from their total point standing. Each team should at least have 3 representatives (2 players to be
linespersons in each game and 1 person to keep the spectators in check, particularly the children). Kindly
remind the kids to stay away from the gymnastics equipment. Your cooperation is very important in making
this league a success and keeping our host gym happy.
