Objectives:
Within 8 hours of clinical exposure as a student medicating nurse nurse at
Tagum Doctors Hospital (Station-3A), I will be able to:
1. Participate the endorsement done by the previous shift;
2. Participate nursing rounds together with the nurses on duty;
3. Prepare and administer medications ordered by the health care provider;
4. Ensure that an adequate supply of stock medications, supplies, and equipments
is on hand;
5. Review medication administration (10 RIGHTS) record for completeness of
information, accuracy;
6. Know the mechanisms of action as well as the possible side effects of the drugs;
7. Conduct endorsement to the next shift for the continuity of care.
