 Although  chapter  members  have  been  busy  helping  out  in  the  community,  they  have  still  managed  
to  have  some  fun.  We  kicked  off  2009  with  a  fashion  and  trends  event  with  local  boutique  owner   2010  Spring  Calendar   5±6  
Betsy  Fisher.  Other  chapter  gatherings  have  included  a  spa  day  for  pampering,  bowling  and  cock-­
tails  at  Lucky  Strike,  a  Spring  Fling  mixer  and  fundraiser,  a  DG  book  signing,  aerobics  and  holiday   Update  on  Dues   7  
eating   tips,   plus   the   ever-­popular   champagne   brunch   and   holiday   tea.   The   SIG   groups   tried   out  
VRPH RI'&¶VQHZHVWDQGWUHQGLHVWUHVWDXUDQWV GLQH RXWDQGOXQFKEXQFK OHDUQHGDERXWZLQHV Star  Sister  Program   8  
from  all  over  the  world  (wine  tasting),  visited  local  landmarks  (DGs  in  DC  and  lunch  bunch),  ob-­
sessed  over  the  Twilight  saga  (book  club),  and  hosted  family  gatherings  (sweet  peas).
