Wonderful Kids Talking about their Real -Life Superheroes in Save the Children PSA

Kids describing their real -life superheroes are featured in the new PSA for Save the
Children.
Kids from Kenya, Mexico, and India are seen on this amazing PSA for Save the Children.
These children used their own language in describing how superheroes affect their
lives. Each child expresses in a larger -than-life manner aid workers and their fantastic
contribution to these children in dire ne eds.
The campaign is entitled Superheroes: Eyewitness Reports . As seen on the video is a
boy saying He came and destroyed the mosquitoes, there is also one saying, He was
flying and he picked up the sick child and flew away. This almost two -minute video is
like a mini-documentary, with realistic handheld shots coupled with just a basic style. It
is a collaboration of Dont Panic and Unit 9.
The film is like a recipe for eternal jet lag for me, as it was shot in three continents for
approximately one week. The children seen in the spot are not given a script to master.
Only minimal guidance was given to them and left on their own to narrate their stories,
which makes the spot more realistic.
The children in Superheroes: Eyewitness Reports are defini tely the needy ones but
they possess a hopeful attitude rather than showing a defeated attitude. PSAs like this
have a tough line to walk. It is simple to create the material may it into melodrama, or
over the edge the other way into despair.
A message that says, Every child deserves a superhero ended the spot. An invitation
to join them in their cause is also there. I am positive that there will be more people to
do just that. A lot of thanks to the Dont Panic and Unit 9 for this creative output.
