Galileo was an inquisitive scientist from a young age. As a boy, he enjoyed inventing toys that moved. He disproved Aristotle's theory that heavier objects fall faster than lighter objects by testing the theory and discovering that all objects fall at the same rate of speed. Galileo also invented an early telescope, which he used to discover evidence that the Sun, not the Earth, was the center of our solar system.
