(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2014
NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council intend, not less than seven days
from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The proposed order is necessary to enable carriageway patching and resurfacing works to be
carried out along various roads within those Community and Town wards contained in the
Schedule below.
The effect of the Order, which will have a maximum duration of 12 months, will be to:a) temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic, other than exempted vehicles, from proceeding
along those sections of road where there is insufficient carriageway width to maintain
traffic flow during the works.
b) impose a temporary 20mph speed limit on all sections of road following resurfacing works.
It is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into force on Tuesday
6th January 2015 with work being undertaken on a rolling programme. Alternative routes will be
provided and signed accordingly and pedestrian and vehicular access will be maintained to affected
properties throughout the duration of the closures.
A list of the roads affected can be obtained by e.mail from the Traffic Section, Pembrokeshire County
Council (Traffic@pembrokeshire.gov.uk), or viewed at County Hall Main Reception during normal
office hours.

Parking Passport Permit - A weekly permit, purchased in advance. This will be a transferable permit which will allow parking in Council car parks, with some short stay car
parks excluded. This is a flexible permit which will allow the purchaser the flexibility to purchase a single permit for multiple car parks, predominantly for visitors.
Full details of the proposals are contained in the draft Order which together with plans indicating the particular car parks affected, a copy of the Pembrokeshire County Council (Off-Street Parking
Places) (Consolidation) Order 2011 and a statement of the Councils reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at County Hall, Haverfordwest, Customer Service Centres located
in Argyle Street, Pembroke Dock and Town Hall, Milford Haven during normal opening hours. For further details please contact Parking Services Manager on 01437 775404.
All objections and any other representations relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. All such written objections
