WHAT IS DESIGN INSTITUTE?
INSTITUTE is an organization founded for particular work such as education,
promotion of the arts, or scientific research.
DESIGN INSTITUTE is a centre of learning where designing skills of different
fields are explored.

IMPORTANCE OF DESIGN INSTITUTE


India being a developing country has much to explore in the field of technology and
design.
Hence for the evolution of design ideas such institute are a back need.
Also in composition to the other fields. The design field is not yet developed in
India. Hence design institutes are a basic need in the field of education in the Indian
scenario.

NATIONAL INSTITUTES IN INDIA FOR DESIGNING


Presently there are only three National institute of India.
1. NID, Ahmedabad
2. NID, Gandhinagar
3. NID, Bangalore
Proposed National institute of India.
1. Andhra Pradesh
2. Madhya Pradesh
3. Assam
4. Haryana
AIM:To propose a national institute for Designing at Bhopal to cater the educational demand of design.

OBJECTIVE:- To design fully efficient working environment for students

- To create lucid landscape as a design element.


- To study different forms and massing for form development.

SCOPE & LIMITATION:The scope of the project is to create artistic and creative environment but my
project is limited to creating environment according to the psychology of
students
JUSTIFICATION OF SITE SELECTION:BHOPAL as in central zone of India has much scope for students from all the sides in India.
There are no design institute in central, eastern and northern zone
Areas such as khajurao, Sanchi, and Bharat Bhavan
As it is a culturally rich city and also has a beautiful landscape hence the city has a large scope for design
institute.

Chapter 1
It consists of introduction to the topic along with aim and objective of the
project and its scope & limitation.

Chapter 2
This chapter consists of description of the site selected and justification of site
along with the issues concerned with topic selected with reference to the city.

Chapter 3
This chapter consists of data collected from various case studies (literature, live,
part studies, etc.) along with the site analysis of the site selected for design.

Chapter 4
This chapter consists of design proposal for the selected topic on the selected
site which uses data from site analysis & case studies.

Chapter 5
This chapter consists of references taken for the completion of this thesis at any
step of work.
