Note: The supplications mentioned here are meant to be recited in the mornings and
evenings. However, the beginning and ending of some will change when recited in the
moming or evening respectively. When reciting during evenings the words for the
moming (underlined) will be replaced with the words of the evening (in parenthesis).

Asbahna (Amsaina) wa asbaha (amsa) al-mulku lillah, walhamdulillah, la sharika lah,

laa ilaaha illa huwa wa ilayhin-nushur (ilayhil-masir).

We have risen this moming (evening) and sovereignty is all Allah's. Praise is due to
Allah alone, He has no partner, there is no God but Him, unto r,vhom is the return.

Asbahnaa (Am:;aynaa) 'alaa.fitratil-Islaam, wa kalimatil-ikhlaas, wa dceni nabiyyitt,t

Muhammadin sallalaahu 'alayhi wa saiiam, wa ala millati abeena Ibrahimcr haneefan v'a
mcra ka ana mina I - mus h r i ke en.
We have risen this morning (evening) on the innate nature of lslam, on the world of
sincerity, and on the deen (way of life) of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
and on the deen of our forefather Ibrahim who was a Muslirn of true faith and was not an
idolater.

Allaahumma maa asbaha (amsaa) bee min ni'matin, aw bi ahadim min khalqika.fa minka
wahdaka la shareeka lak falakal hamdu wa lalcash-shukr.
Oh Allah, whatever grace has been my share this morning (evening) or the share of any
of Your creation is fi'om You alone, without partner, so for You is all praise and unto
You all thanks.

midada kalimatih.
How Perfect and Exalted Allah is and I praise Him by the number of His creation, and the
pleasure of His Self, and by the weight of His Throne, and the ink to record His words
and sisns.

Allah! I seek refuge in You from sorrow and sadness, and I seek refuge in You from
incapacity and laziness, and I seek refuge iriYou from cowardliness and miserliness, and

'ahdika v)a wa'dika mas-tata't, a'uthu bika min sharri mo san'atu, abu'u laka bini'matika 'alayya wa abu'tt bi-thambi./itgh-firli fa-innahu la yagh/iruth-thunuba illa ant.
O Allah! You are my Lord; there is no god but You. You created me and I am your
slave, I uphold your pledge and evil that I have committed. I acknowledge your blessing
upon lne and I acknowledge my sin. So forgive me, fbr none can forgive can forgive sins
except you.

Astaghfirulla-hal 'athim-allathi la ilaha illa huwal-hayyul-qayyumu wa atoubu ilayh.

I seek forgiveness from Allah, none has the right to be worshiped except Him, the Living,
the Etemal, and I repent to Him.

Subhanakal-lahumma wa be-hamdika, ash-hadu alla ilaha illa ant, astaghfiruka wa
atoubu ilayk.

Glory and all praise be to you O Allah! I testify that thcre is no god but You. I seck your
forgiveness and to you I repent.

O Allah! Exalt ancl have mercy on Muhamrnad (peace and blessings upon him), your
servant, your Prophet, and your Messenger, and upon his f-amily and companions, and
grant them peace.
