One Province One Product Exhibition 2012
The Cambodian Ministry of Commerce is pleased to announce the success of the last 6th Cambodia
ImportExport and One Province One Product Exhibition plus ACMECS 2011, which was organized in December
last year. A total of 262 companies from both abroad and local have participated in this annual mega national
trade event with 376 exhibiting booths. The exhibition has received approximately 59,540 visitors in the 4 days
event period. There were 3 major Pavilions featured by Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. 17 countries have
participated in this event, which were divided into 3 different areas as follows:
1. ACMECS Members - from Laos 4 exhibition booths, Myanmar 5 exhibition booths,
Thailand 111 exhibition booths, and Vietnam 26 exhibition booths.
2. ASEAN Members - from Malaysia 6 exhibition booths, Indonesia 3 exhibition booths,
Philippines 1 exhibition booth, and Singapore 5 exhibition booths.
3. Partnership Members - from Japan 27 exhibition booths, South Korea 20 exhibition
booths, China 26 exhibition booths, USA 5 exhibition booths, Germany 3 exhibition
booths, Italy 3 exhibition booths, UK 2 exhibition booths, and the others 6 exhibition
booths.
Standing on the results and our proposes to promote trade and investment activities, especially to increase
export volume in order to develop Cambodia economic in the Rectangular Strategy Phase II of the Cambodia
Government Policy in the 4th mandate, the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia is continuing to organize the 7 th
Cambodia Import-Export and One Province One Product Exhibition, to be held from 15-18 December, 2012 at
the Koh Pich Convention & Exhibition Center, Phnom Penh. To ensure effective results, the Ministry of
Commerce will organize sub-events such as Business Forum, Banking Services and Real Estate Challenges
seminars, Trade Promotion Activities, Business Talk, MOU Signing Ceremonies and Trade Matching activities.
In line with this trade event, the Ministry of Commerce aims to extend Cambodian markets for local products,
and to facilitate trader-partnerships between local and overseas.
The Cambodia ImportExport and One Province One Product Exhibition is created to stimulate ImportExport
business activities, while providing both consumers and traders the acknowledgement and support for the use
of local quality commodities, goods & services. Cambodia is a country with great and unexploited potentials,
and the Royal Government of Cambodia has committed to continue implementing in-depth reforms to improve
domestic business environment, continues its focus on trade facilitation aimed at reducing costs in doing
business, especially the costs related to export and import operations.
I would like to extend our warmest invitation to all businesses, local or abroad to actively participate in the 7th
Cambodia Import-Export & One Province One Product Exhibition 2012, and contribute to the success of this
event.
