The ways that Dongwoo has passed through for the last 21 years are the history of an unceasing challenge and

1989 ~ 1995 _ First step forward as a transformer & insulator manufacturer

Established in 1989, in the first step as a transformer and insulator manufacturer, Dongwoo acquired a patent for a CT with a
built-in corona-preventing device in 1982. In 1993, Dongwoo turned incorporated, was selected as an officially qualified-testexempt company by KOEMA (Korea Electrical Manufacturers Association) and developed 10 kinds of highly reliable CT & PT
according to IEC Standards. We have been recognized with our good qualification by acquiring KS mark in 1995 and EM mark in 1996.

1996 ~ 2002 _ Devotion with efforts to the development of technology & the improvement of quality
Dongwoo obtained KSA 9002 / ISO 9002 with installation of an automatic epoxy molding equipments in 1997 and selected as a 'New
Technology Developing Venture Enterprise' and a 'Promising Export Company' by SMBA (the Small & Medium Business
Administration). We also acquired UL mark for Instrument Transformer in 2000, CE mark for Instrument Current Transformer in 2001
and gained a footing in technical development by establishing the R&D center in 2002.

2003 ~ Present _ New takeoff to the best

The head office and the factory were moved to Pyungtaek City in 2003 which is the present location, gained the KEPIC-EN
Certificationin 2005 and was chosen as a 'Technologically Innovative Company (INNO-BIZ) in the same year. We also obtained KSA
14001 / The ISO14001 Environmental Product Certification with unceasing efforts to quality competitiveness, and acquired 'NEP New
Product Certification for Socket with a built-in CT in 2006 and earned 'The Korea Precision Industrial Technology Prize', and 'The
Commendation of The Prime Minister and The Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy'. Dongwoo E&E and Dongwoo C&P were
founded as an affiliate in 2008, and as an opportunity of a new take off, a high voltage insulator manufacturing factory with up-to-date
testing machines and new technological molding equipments was set up in Gyeonju-Si in Gyeongsang Province and, an Eco-friendlytyped Polymer Switch which is one of the eco-typed electric power equipments is being in process of registration and development in
KEPCO (the Korea Electric Power Corporation).

Moreover, Dongwoo has developed eco-friendly solid insulators and entered into mass production by cooperating with many eminent
domestic companies, and completed the development of Epoxy Spacers & Insulators from 72.5kV to 800kV in the high-voltage
insulation area. A High voltage insulation manufacturing factory equipped with up-to-date molding machines and testing equipments
has been established in Kyung-Ju, in addition to Pyung-Tack factory introduced with the electrically automatic pressure devices (APG:
Automatic Pressure Gelation) to meet customers requirements with a productivity improvement. With the eco-friendly electrical
power equipments in process of registration and development in KEPCO (the Korea Electric Power Corporation), Dongwoo is now

Since its foundation, Dongwoo has been concentrating on Research and Development.
Especially, in the epoxy mold-typed transformer production area, Dongwoo has achieved
much recognition with the first domestic technological development, and moreover, recently
invested, on a large scale, in the development of the eco-friendly insulator and started mass
