SENIORS

If you completed the on-line application for Reedley College/Fresno City College; you will be
receiving an email from SCCCD (State Center Community College District) with instructions
that you will need to follow for completing the On-line orientation, DO NOT DELETE! The
on-line orientation is open. PLEASE check your email daily. Email is the #1 form of
communication that colleges use. Any questions or if you need help see Ms. Loving.

ALL STUDENTS

Next week on Wednesday through Friday before finals start, all classrooms and all teachers
will be available in their rooms from 8:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. for any students needing extra
help to prepare for finals or to study for each final that day. The library will be open each
morning for students needing a place to study. Breakfast is provided to all students in the
caf. Busses will run at the regular time each day of finals. Be ready to achieve next week
to end the 1st semester in order to be eligible next semester for the extended lunch as well
as eligible for extra-curricular activities and/or athletics.

ALL STUDENTS

Please use the crosswalk at all times. Especially before school and after school. Wright
Street is particularly busy with the usual congestion of cars and buses. The pedestrian
crossing is there to keep us safe.

Have you participated in an enrichment program during extended lunch? The following
activities are offered to all eligible students during extended lunch:
Scrapbooking in room 705 with Mrs. Thornburg
Ping Pong in room 902 with Mr. Wright
Intramurals in the gym with Mr. Pallesi
Volley Tennis on the tennis courts with Mr. Hollett
Auto Maintenance and Repair in room 311 with Mr. Moz
Computer Aided Drafting and Design in room 305 with Mr. Olinger

IPODS

Please be respectful of the NO cell phone & IPOD rule from 8 AM 3:30 PM. If your cell
phone is confiscated; A Parent/guardian must come to Selma High to pick up the item. No
excuses. Please be respectful of the Selma High School Rules.

BREAKFASTw/SANTA Like pancakes? Like Santa Claus??? Then come to the Breakfast with Santa! event on
Saturday, December 13th from 8:00 AM 11:00 AM to buy a pancake breakfast for only
$5.00 and take pictures with Santa! There will be a raffle as wellMain prizes include an
Apple IPad Mini, $200 Visa Gift Card, and a $100 Gas Card. Want to buy a raffle ticket?
They are $2.00 each and are available from choir students and Mr. Williams and Mr. Yang
in the choir room. Come and hang out and have breakfast with everyone!

PAJAMA DANCE

Attention all students: GSA will be hosting a Pajama Dance tonight from 5-8 pm in the
Dining Hall. The dance is open to all current SHS students. The cost to get in is $5. Put on
your favorite pair of PJs and dont miss out! School dress code will be enforced.

YEARBOOKS

Attention all students: If you have not yet purchased a yearbook, Friday, December 19, will
the LAST day to purchase a yearbook or make a deposit on a book before the cost of the
yearbook goes up by $5 in January. The cost of the book is $80 but the yearbook staff is
accepting deposits of $40 with the remainder to be paid off in May. Stop by room 2307
during lunch or after school to make a payment. Dont miss out!

ANIME CLUB

We will have a meeting today it will be held in room 1502 at lunch. Please bring your
permission slips.

GIRLS GOLF

Girls Golf pictures are in and may be picked up at the athletic window with Ms. Bonilla.

SENIOR
SWEATSHIRTS

Attention all seniors If you ordered a senior sweatshirt, they will be delivered on
December 17. Some extras will be sold on a first come, first serve basis that day for
$40. Listen to the bulletin to find out more info.

LIBRARY

Today the Library will be closed from 7:00 am 12:30 pm for a District Library Mtg. We will
be open for Lunch.

SWIMMING

Varsity swimming starts Monday at 5:30 for all those registered. Dry land only.

ALL STUDENTS

Attention Music Lovers! The SHS Jazz and Symphonic Bands will be playing a FREE concert
tonight at the ALMS Cafeteria. The music starts at 630. Hope to see you there!!

CROSS COUNTRY

Coach Henson will be out at the track today and all next week for those who have not
turned in their uniforms. If they are not turned in, you will be placed on debt.
