Employer would not shoulder 100% costs for Travel Expenses, Processing of Work/
Resident Permit Papers of Employee before Work sign-on. Employee shall bear
the responsibility of travel expenses. This is to possibly evade losses that may be
accrued to Employer should Employee decide to decline Job Offer after certain
Expenses must have been made by Employer. This agreement hereby binds
Employer and Employee in that reimbursements will be made fully to Employees
upon presentation of Expense Reports and proof of Expenses.
All payment of Salary after assumption of duty in CANADA shall be 70% paid into
an offshore account to be provided by employee with the remaining 30% paid
locally in CANADA.
This is in line with Canadian Expatriate Financial Statutory Laws.
FEEDING & ACCOMODATION
Newly recruited staff of QUESTERRE ENERGY CORPORATION is expected to reside
at the companys Staff estate. There are FOUR BED-ROOM FLAT DUPLEX options
for Employee s to choose from, Also, employees shall be expected to eat at the
staff canteen free of charge, as there are dietary options for vegetarians and
non-vegetarians.
MEDICAL EXPENSES
Employer will provide the employee with comprehensive Health care for the
term of contract, and follow-on care for injuries suffered during the term of
contract for employee and family
WORKING HOURS
QUESTERRE ENERGY CORPORATION working hours is 24 hours Service and is
base on shift (Monday Saturday) 8am - 4pm, 4pm 12am, 12am till
dawn. You are entitled to one hour of lunch in break every day.
You may be required to work beyond the normal working hours to
discharge your duties at the sole discretion of the Company.
SAFETY & SECURITY
Safety and Security (Local/Foreign) and Facilities on Job Locations and
communities are no small issues, and have been seriously considered to ensure
and assure hitch free operations, all workers are entitled to security men at their
Residential Quarters
All operations on Job Location are designed to adhere strictly to the Health
Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy.
CONFIDENTIALITY
You shall not disclose to any third party any confidential information
obtained during the period of employment or recruiting process unless
expressly authorized by the Organization.
Confidential information for the purposes of this employment is not limited
to trade secrets, business plans, strategies, financial information and any
other information that will promote the Organization competitive position.
Your obligations to maintain confidentiality and secrecy shall apply after
your employment until such time that the information is no longer
confidential or has been made public by the Organization.
You shall not without prior written consent of the Organization destroy,
make copies, duplicate or reproduce in any form the Organization
confidential information.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Recreational/Sports Facilities shall also be made available at the disposal of all
expatriates with no expenses to be incurred. Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service
will also be made available to all Expatriates by the company's laundry and dry
cleaning unit.
CONTRACT DURATION:
Your contract is expected to last for a period of 60 Months which is renewable
only on satisfactory performance by employee.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WORK EMPLOYMENTS
That all expatriates considered for this job offer must be satisfactorily
qualified.
That all expatriates contacted must submit their original certificates &
credentials to the Human Resources /Recruitment Manager for screening
as soon as they arrive in CANADA
That the company will only be responsible for your air ticket.
All expatriates contacted and contracted for this engagement will have
the Hard copy of their job contract engagement papers document been
forwarded to the CANADIAN Embassy in the country.
These are strictly stated in the company MEMORANDUM and ARTICLES OF
ASSOCIATION and the companys MODUS OPERANDI.
GOVERNING LAW:
This agreement shall be construed under the laws of CANADA and the
prevailing party to any litigation to enforce the terms of this agreement shall be
entitled to attorneys' fees and costs.
INTEGRATED AGREEMENT:
Please note that this agreement supersedes any prior agreements,
arrangements or understanding concerning your employment, and that it
constitutes the full, complete and exclusive agreement between you and the
Firm [as to all matters covered herein]. This at-will agreement may not be
modified except by written agreement signed by you and QUESTERRE ENERGY
CORPORATION.
SEVERABILITY:
If one or more clauses in this agreement are determined to be unenforceable
for any reason, the remainder of the agreement shall remain in full force and
effect.
We look forward to your joining our firm. In order to confirm your agreement with
and acceptance of these terms, please sign one copy of this letter and return it
to me. The other copy is for your records.
NOTE: You can only sign, if you accept the position given on your Appointment Letter.
