Eligible candidates are invited to attend a WALK IN INTERVIEW on 19/12/2014 sharp at
10.00 AM at this Institute for the post of Reader (Kulliyat), 01 post of Lecturer (TST), 04 posts
of R.M.O (02 posts for Amraze-Niswan-wa-Qabalat, 01 Post for Jarahat, 01 Post for Amraz-eAtfal), 01 Post of Analytical Chemist, 01 Post of Pharmacognosist purely on contract basis on
consolidated remuneration as detailed below.
1. Reader

`.40,000.00 Per month.

2. Lecturer

`.30,000.00 Per month.

3. R.M.O

`. Minimum Basic Pay + Grade Pay+ applicable Dearness Allowance only.

4. Analytical Chemist

`.25,000.00 Per month.

5. Pharmacognosist

`.25,000.00 Per month.

(For pensioners it is subject to Govt. of India instructions issued from time to time).
READER Kulliyat- 01 Post.
Age 50 years.
Qualification:
Essential: 1) Degree in Unani Medicine with 60% marks from a University established by Law
or a statutory board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule
of IMCC Act, 1970. 2) Post Graduate qualification in Unani Medicine in the concerned
discipline from a recognized University established by Law or Statutory Board / Faculty /
Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970.
3) Teaching experience in a recognized Institution for five years.
4) Original published papers/books on the subject.
Desirable: 1) Atleast five years teaching experience in a PG Institution in the concerned
subject.
2) Original published work in Unani.
3) Knowledge of Urdu and Hindi/English.
LECTURER T.S.T (Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib)- 01 Post.
Age 40 years.
Qualification:
Essential: 1) Degree in Unani Medicine with 60% marks from a University established by Law
or Statutory board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of
IMCC Act, 1970. 2) Post Graduate qualification in Unani Medicine in the concerned discipline
from a recognized University established by Law or Statutory Board / Faculty / Examining Body
of Indian medicine included in the II schedule of IMCC Act, 1970.
Desirable: 1. Original published work in Unani. 2. Knowledge of Urdu and Hindi / English.
Note: In case of non availability PG degree in the concerned speciality allied disciplines
should be considered.

RESIDENT MEDICAL OFFICER (R.M.O) - 04 Posts.


(02 posts for Amraze-Niswan-wa-Qabalat, 01 Post for Jarahat, 01 Post for Amraz-eAtfal),
Age below 40 years.
Qualification:
Essential: 1) Degree in Unani of a recognized University/ Statutory / Faculty / Council/ or
equivalent and included in the II schedule of CCIM Act, 1970. 2) MD/ Ms Unani, in Clinical
subjects. 3) Enrolment on the Central Register of CCIM or State Register of ISM. 4) Knowledge
of Arabic/ Urdu/ Persian. Desirable:

ANALYTICAL CHEMIST - 01 Post.


Age 40 years.
Qualification:
Essential: 1) M.Sc in Analytical chemistry / Applied chemistry / Biochemistry/ Chemistry.

PHARMACOGNOSIST - 01 Post.
Age 40 years.
Qualification:
Essential: 1) M.Pharma (Pharmacognosy) / M.Sc Botany.
Retired persons with age not more than 65 years may also apply.

General Instructions and Guidelines:


1. Separate application form is to be submitted for each post.
2. No column of application should be left blank. Strike out those columns, which are not
applicable.
3. The Educational qualification, age experience and other conditions of eligibility as
stipulated above against the post shall be determined as on the date of interview.
4. The Institute reserves the right not filling any post without assigning any reason.
5. All appointments shall be made on Contractual basis. The claim for permanent
employment shall not be considered.
6. Candidature of applicant shall be subject to verification of testimonials at subsequent
stage.
7. The candidate belongs to SC/ST/OBC have to bring the caste certificate in the format
only as at Annexure II &III to this Advertisement. Reservation applicable as per Govt.
of India rules.
8. No TA/DA shall be payable to applicant for any journey performed for attending the
interview.
9. Canvassing in any form shall attract disqualification.
10. No enquiry in person or in writing for the above recruitment shall be entertained.
