SWORD OF HONOUR
In 1989, the British Safety Council awarded the Sword of Honour to Galfar in recognition of the Company's
dedication and its achievements in safety.

the late Dr. Douglas Latto, the then-Chairman of the Board of Governors of the British Safety Council. Galfar is one
of the 33 companies worldwide selected to receive the coveted "Sword!"

Galfar's performance in Health, Safety & Environment-related activities is now legendary! The Company probably
has the highest Safety record in the Middle East. This was made possible by the total commitment of the Galfar
Management and all personnel and a strong belief that "Safety is a way of life!"
This Newsflash in Shell's EP Safety publication of April, 1987, recognized Galfar's achievement of 5 Million
Accident-Free Man-hours in a wide range of construction activities for PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT OMAN
(PDO), a Shell-managed company.

AMERICAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS

American Society of Mechanical Engineers has awarded the use of ASME logo in accordance with the applicable
rules of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel code on November 18,2009

Galfar has received ISO/TS 29001:2010 certification for Management system standard in 2011.

ISO 14001:2004

Galfar has received ISO14001:2004 certification for Management system standard in 2007.

ISO 9001:2008

Galfar has received ISO 9001:2008 certification for Management system standard in 1996.

Galfar has received ISO 18001:2007 certification for Occupational Health & Safety Management system standard in
