COURSE CATALOG
The program prepares students for Christian service by
enabling them to gain a basic understanding of Scripture,
theology, and the Christian worldview.

Southeastern Seminary:
This Spring, we will be offering three (3) courses for the Southeastern Baptist Seminary
Tampa Extension. These classes will fulfill core requirements that apply to the M.A. Christian
Studies degree, as well as, two core and one elective course supporting the M.Div. degree.
The first Saturday class begins January 17. I will be teaching Christian Theology II at 8:00
a.m. in Room E209. The second is: Great Commission Studies, taught by Dr. Robinson; and
third is: History of the Baptist Church, taught by Dr. Chesney. Scheduled times are Friday,
noon - 9 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. All classes will meet in Room E209.

MASTER OF ARTS
degree requirements
The M.A. Degree (36 hours) includes the core courses
(33 hours), and an MA Research Project (3 hours) that
may be taken in any discipline to enable the student to
focus on a particular ministry emphasis. Both degrees
are A.T.S. and SACS accredited.

admission requirements
Admission to the Master of Divinity program is
limited to persons holding a baccalaureate degree
or its equivalent, who also meet all other admission
requirements for the Seminary. Individual track
concentrations may have additional requirements, as
noted.
