Ramp up the
fight after xmas
T

hours on 29 January. They will escalate

to a full 24-hour strike across the health
service on 25 February.

Going

Every public sector worker has taken

years of real terms pay cuts. Its time to
stop the attacks.
DSG workers will have been out
for 16 days all told on Friday. Unite
has been right behind us so far. Its
important they maintain that support.
Weve come too far now not to go all
the way to win this fight.

his weeks action has been just as

successful as the previous weeks
with big lively pickets.
Today DSG workers will get the
report back from the Unite combine.
Its crucial that whatever the detail
the union keeps up the momentum
with more strikes in the New Year.
Hard hitting action in January will
show management that this dispute
is not going away and that they must
come to terms. It will also deliver
a message to Babcock or any other
potential employer!
While its most important to step up
the strikes its also important to step up
the political pressure too.
When Donnington workers lobbied
Phillip Dunne MP they put their case
across in no uncertain terms.
If DSG workers descended on
London in the New Year, protesting
at the MoD and lobbying MPs theyd
make a big impact.
Unite members at DSG are not the
only ones fighting back over pay.
Hundreds of thousands of NHS
workers are set to strike for twelve
