We are concerned that we still have children coming into school after the bell has
gone. Please ensure that your child/
children are in the playground to line up
with their class before the bell rings. A
child's learning can be considerably affected if they miss the first few minutes of
the lesson as they have missed out on a
vital piece of information and instruction.
Children who are late need to be signed in
at the office with the reason for their lateness. This will be monitored.
Please support your child in ensuring they
arrive at school by 8.50. We have had a
number of parents/carers who try to go
through the gate to get to their child's
class after this time. Please ensure you

Chingford Hall Fireworks Display

Despite a wet start to this years fireworks, a great time was had by all who attended, witnessing a truly spectacular
display for 2014.

Year 1 - Shiloh liked When

they were making colours.
Vanessa - I liked when
they were coming and we
had to count. They were
lighting up.

I thought the fireworks were

cool, fantastic, awesome and was
the colour green. Damian Year 3

The fireworks were colourful

and amazing. Adam Year 2

The fireworks were simply

amazing. I felt extremely excited by the magnificent lights and
the enthusiastic mood of the
crowd. Alisha Year 6.

It was fun at the

fireworks, bangers,
the rockets, the Katherine wheels & sparklers. Alicia - Reception Class

Very good, the kids enjoyed it,

they loved it. Alison, Gino & Leos
mum (Nursery & Year 3)

Yesterday at the fireworks display, I

was almost completely blown away as I
saw all those eye catching colours filling
the air. I just couldn't believe it as my
family and I had such a wonderful
time. Victor Year 5.

Last night, 4th November 2014, I went to the fireworks with Nathan and his dad and mum. We walked through the gate
as the fire works were about to start. Before we got comfy, we brought a headband that was glow in the dark. As we
were heading to get a hot dog the countdown started. I heard Bang! And saw loads of my favourite colours flying and
falling towards the ground.
Just then, sparklers whooshed in the air and was very loud. I finished my tasty hotdog as the last one came. It was all of
them mixed together, it was such a beautiful sight and it was very loud.

the Films
We have a wonderful opportunity to take a large
group of children to watch
a free film which is linked
to our anti-bullying policy/
PSCHE curriculum. The
films will be showing at
the beginning of November. As there are limited
places available, the fairest way of doing this is to
select those children who have stayed on green this
half-term and place their names in a 'hat' to see
who will be lucky enough to be picked out of the
'hat.' Parents/ carers will be informed next week
if their child is one of the 'lucky ones' to attend. Pupils will contribute their feedback in an assembly.
