UHF (1989)
FACT: In the last several decades of our cultural history, NO
ONE has provided more laughter and sheer, unbridled FUN
than Weird Al Yankovic. Als humble beginnings as a brilliant
song parodist have led to platinum albums, three Grammy
Awards, countless international tours and media appearances
and -- last but not least -- the most hilarious movie to ever bust
mankinds collective gut: UHF!! 1/6
Tough Guy Cinema
THIEF (1981)
Some people seem to think HEAT is the best film Michael
Mann has ever made, but most of those people say that because
they havent seen his first movie THIEF yet. THIEF is one
of those movies that is so cool you want to live inside of it, if
youre completely unfamiliar Id say its DRIVE straight out of
1981....but infinitely better. Michael Mann writes and directs
this incredible photographed heist film to the hypnotically
perfect sounds of Tangerine Dream. The cast is a whos who
of celebrities and the story is simple and elegant: A man wants
to make enough money to get away clean, but when he works in
the dirtiest business things can get complicated. 1/14

VERTIGO (1958)
Alfred Hitchcocks masterpiece VERTIGO is a true feat of
cinema, a dizzying rebuttal of the traditional films made at
the time of its release. Film scholar Robin Wood calls the film
Hitchcocks masterpiece to date and one of the four or five
most profound and beautiful films the cinema has yet given us
and the adulation has grown more widely accepted by critics
with each passing decade, as Hitchcocks mastery becomes
more recognized. 1/7

MY MAN GODFREY (1936)
If you had to find one film that perfectly expressed, more than
any other, the hilarious and magical, yet socially-conscious escapism that Hollywood mastered during the Great Depression,
MY MAN GODFREY is the one. Its the definitive screwball
comedy. Madcap antics, biting social satire and glamorous romance mix to produce a movie thats unstoppable force of pure
happiness. GODFREY follows the story of a wealthy family
of high social standing who hire a down and out hobo to be
their butler and valet. Fifth Avenue socialite Irene Bullock (Carole Lombard) who needs a forgotten man to win a scavenger
hunt, and no one is more forgotten than Godfrey Park (William
Powell), who resides in a dump by the East River. Irene hires
Godfrey as a servant for her riotously unhinged family, to the
chagrin of her spoiled sister, Cornelia (Gail Patrick), who tries
her best to get Godfrey fired. As Irene falls for her new butler,
Godfrey turns the tables and teaches the frivolous Bullocks a
lesson or two. The film, filled with marvelous character actors
(Alice Brady, Eugene Pallette, Gail Patrick, and Mischa Auer)
and written by Marx Bros collaborator Morrie Ryskind, still
stands as a pinacle of golden age screen comedy. 1/29

SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD Quote-Along (2010)

SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD is a film of pure joy. A
love letter to geek culture from Edgar Wright and Bryan Lee
OMalley, this film was criminally underappreciated during its
initial theatrical release, but of course Alamo audiences immediately knew we had something special on our hands and so
a bunch of us flocked to the theater to watch it again and again.
All of those repeat viewings led to an even deeper appreciation
of the film, and before long we noticed that a lot of lines from
the movie had crept into our every day speech. 1/5
THE BIG LEBOWSKI Quote-Along (1998)
Sometimes, theres a man, well, hes the man for his time and
place. He fits right in there. And thats The Dude. Theres no
one quite like him, and were giving you the chance to abide
with The Dude (Jeff Bridges) at THE BIG LEBOWSKI
Quote-Along. Weve subtitled all of your favorite lines so you
can use the preferred nomenclature, and well be handing out
inflatable bats so you can show Larry what happens when you
find a a stranger in the alps. THE BIG LEBOWSKI was just
deemed culturally, historically or aesthetically significant by
the Library of Congress that it will now be preserved for all
time. Whether its your first time with the dude or you are an
official Little Lebowski Urban Achiever this is THE moment
to see El Duderino in all his glory. 1/19

WINTERBEAST (1993)
VHS insanity for only $1.
BEAST AND DESIST! Shot over six years on three different
formats for $10,000 in Massachusetts, WINTERBEAST is a
true no-fi miracle. When The Wild Goose Lodge is overrun
with mutilation-minded, stop-motion beastoids, its up to
Sergeant Whitman and Forest Ranger Stillman to take care of
bizness! But what about the creepiest lodge proprietor who
ever creeped around in a plaid suit, Mr. Sheldon? And what
about Whitmans shape-shifting mustache?! WINTERBEAST
feels like it was shot in an attic during a blizzard on Halloween
night by no-budget superheroes the Polonia brothers after they
watched EQUINOX. It also feels like it was made by people
who were reaching up to the sky, ripping open a hole, and
stepping into an undiscovered plane of existence. Collage-like,
immersive in its cheapness, and deliriously unhinged, WINTERBEAST is one of the one-hundred million black holes that
exist in the Milky Way galaxy. It is also the largest. 1/28

MEAN GIRLS Quote-Along (2004)
Given the stellar cast and hilarious script, its easy to see why
MEAN GIRLS so quickly earned a permanent place in our
cultural lexicon, not to mention my every day vocabulary. From
the elegantly simple, Boo, you whore, to Damians trademark,
YOU GO, GLEN COCO! the script is packed with great
lines, which is why weve created the first ever quote-along
version of the movie! As you recite your favorite lines, you can
try to make fetch happen with Gretchen and experience ESPN

THE LATE SHOW

BRINGING THE BEST OF THE BEST AND THE BEST OF THE REST

CONAN THE BARBARIAN (1982)

Conan will face off against the nefarious Thulsa Doom (James
Earl Jones) and battle against the enslavement of mankind. One
of the most sweat-powered films youll ever see, and featuring
the flat-out craziest giant snake in movie history. 1/3
LABYRINTH (1986)
David Bowie has always looked good, but for many of us he
will always be the sadistic Goblin King, toying with crystal balls
and climbing M.C. Escher stairs. Behold the magic and wonder
once again! 1/10
FLASH GORDON (1980)
The madcap sci-fi adventure is one of the one hundred highest ratest science fiction films on Rotten Tomatoes. Filmed in
an intentionally camp style, featuring an extra rad soundtrack
entirely by Queen (!) and produced by film great Dino De
Laurentiis, FLASH GORDON is a total blast. 1/17
LEGEND (1985)
Journey into fantasy with Ridley Scotts epic treat for the eyes,
the ears and the imagination. Tom Cruise stars as Jack, a young
man who finds himself in battle against the Lord of Darkness
played by the always impressive Tim Curry 1/24
LABYRINTH (1986)
Set in a lush, gorgeous world, Krull deftly combines the fantasy
elements of an adventuring party racing to fulfill an ancient
prophecy with the science fiction elements of an invasion from
the stars.the breakout star of Krull is the Glaive: the mystical
five-bladed throwing star. 1/31

A hilarious and bizarre take on the sex comedy from Japanese
comedy giant Hitoshi Matsumoto.

titular turn in Takashi Miikes Ichi the Killer) hires a boutique
dominatrix agency that specializes in guerilla acts of public
degradation.

forced into action with a slew of vengeful dominatrices chasing
him down. With the help of his son, hell have to devise a plan
