A lot of exciting changes are coming to the Magna Senior Center in 2010. We will be
Directors Corner: moving to a new building, there will be new employees, new participants, new friends,
new activities and classes and new experiences. The current building has been our home since 1974 and has
served us well. I have enjoyed the close environment that makes it feel intimate and personal. I will miss be-
ing able to hear the entertainment while working at my desk. As we prepare to move I would just encourage
all of you to do the following in order to make our transition smooth and successful:
1. Invite all of your friends, family and neighbors who are over 60 to come check us out.
2. Be friendly and welcoming to all the new people who will start coming to the center.
3. Be flexible, patient and open as we adjust to the new environment.
4. Be open to change and be willing to do things differently.
5. Be involved—volunteer to serve on a committee, plan an event, serve in the kitchen, or teach a class.
As we all work together I know we can have the best year ever at the Magna Senior Center!!
