3 key officers of Kolej Tun Datu

Tuanku Haji Btiangs Leo Club
attended the Lions BOD Meeting
held at Gymkhana Club, Miri to
present their respective reports
during the meeting. Our Leo Club
received a total of 20 Leo
badges to be giuen to otr cltbs
newly inducted members. Then,
the Lions and fellow Leos
celebrated Lion Yit Kian and Leo
Glorias birthday.

18th October 2014

This is an annual ceremony where it
will be held every year to give
awards to excellent students of Kolej
TDTH Bujang. It was also the
graduation day of our immediate
past BODs. This event was witnessed
by teachers, parents, staffs and
students. Our Immediate Past
President, Leo Joel received
Anugerah YDP PIBG 2014 while our
Immediate Past Treasurer Leo
Gibson and Immediate Past BOD
Leo Fabron received Anugerah
Pelajar Contoh Kolej 2014. A large
number of leos received certificates
and prizes during the ceremony
based on their excellent
performance in academic and cocurricular activities.

24th October 2014 onwards

The recycling project is

currently on-going in our
school. This project is aimed to
encourage students, teachers
and staffs of Kolej TDTH
Bujang to recycle the recyclable
items as habit in their daily life
to save the environment. For the
beginning stage, our Leo club
has provided one big recycling
bin nearby the schools library
to collect papers, old
newspapers, boxes, books and
magazines. This environmental
project will be on-going until
next year and more bins will be
provided in the future to collect
other types of recyclable items.

Lions Club of Miri Hosts Environmental

Project (with newspaper publicity)
8th November 2014

A total of 25 Leos from Leo Club of Kolej Tun Datu

Tuanku Haji Bujang attended the Environmental
Project organized by our sponsoring Lions Club of Miri
Host. This project aimed to preserve our green Earth and
reduce global warming. Lions and Leos water the ten
trees at Kolej Tun Datu Tuanku Haji Bujangs football
field.

Participation in schools Form 4

Interclass Drama Competition
14th November 2014

A number of 11 Leos participated in the

schools Drama Interclass Competition.
The Leos managed to build rapport among
their respective classmates to create a
very creative and exciting play for the
drama competition. The students and
Leos had a very quality time together
during the competition as they enjoy
watching other competitors put on a
show on the stage that bring joy to the
audiences.

Buy Christmas gifts for PDK children in

conjunction with Christmas Day
15th November 2014

Leos went shopping at Bintang

Megamall Miri to buy gifts for PDK
children and guided by OC Lion PP Diana
Yeoh. This project aimed to bring cheer
and love to PDK children in
conjunction with Christmas day. Leo
Club of Kolej Tun Datu Tuanku Haji
Bujang bought gifts for 10 PDK children
according to the wish list. Faculty
advisors and Leos had a quality time in
this meaningful activity.

Joint Recycling Project with

schools SPBT Club
19th & 20th November 2014

This project was held to put into

the practice of 3R concept
amongst Leos and students. This
project managed to get supports
from teachers, staffs and
students. We managed to raise RM
140.35 by selling the used books,
papers, newspapers and boxes to the
recycle centre.

Wrap Christmas Gifts for PDK

Children at Bintang Megamall Miri
28th November 2014

This project aimed to bring cheer and love

to PDK children in conjunction with
Christmas Day. A total of 4 Kolej Leos and
2 faculty advisors volunteered to help in
wrapping Christmas gifts for the PDK
children. We wrapped 40 gifts that bought
by sponsoring Lions Club of Miri Host and
our Leo club with the wrapping papers
provided by the Parkson management. The
gifts were nicely wrapped and will be
given to the PDK Children soon.

School: Donation of used items to MRC(Miri Chapter)s 3R
Centre in conjunction with International Leo Service Day

2. Joint Project with Lions Club of Miri Host: Programme for
Rural Medical and Health Community Services at Rumah
Randie, Marudi (6th 7th December 2014)
3. Handover of Christmas Gifts to PDK Children through
Parkson, Miri (10th December 2014)

Joint Projects with Leo Club of Riam Road Secondary School:

Donation of used items to MRC(Miri Chapter)s 3R Centre in
conjunction with International Leo Service Day Project
6th December 2014

This project is held to commemorate the

International Leo Service Day which falls on the
5th December every year. The objective of this project
is to put into the practice of 3R concept amongst
Leos and exposes Leos to the existence and
functions of the MRCS 3R Centre. All Leos of Kolej
TDTH Bujangs Leo Club attended the Leo Service Day
Project. We donated used items which were still in
good condition such as clothes, toys, shoes and
bags to MRC 3R Centre in hopes that these donated
items will be utilized to raise funds for the centre.

Joint Project with Lions Club of Miri Host: Programme for

Rural Medical and Health Community Services at Rumah
Randie, Marudi
6th 7th December 2014)

A total of 3 Leos from our Leo Club volunteered to help in the community service project organized by
Lion Peter Yong at Rumah Randie, Marudi. This project was aimed to bring health awareness to the
underprivilaged community in the rural area. The medical and health services provided were as below:
-Diabetes screening by checking the glucose level
- Vision screening
- PAP smear screening to detect cervix cancer
- Dental check up to treat dentistry problems
- Free hair cuts
Our Leos helped in blood glucose level checking and vision screening. They also helped to clean the place after
the hair cut.

Handover of Christmas Gifts to PDK

Children through Parkson, Miri
10th December 2014

A total of 2 Leos and 1 Faculty Advisor

from our Leo Club attended for
Christmas Gift Handover Ceremony to
PDK Children through Parkson Miri.
This project was aimed to bring cheer
and happiness along with the
Christmas spirit to the PDK children.
The Christmas gifts will be sent to the
PDK centre through Parkson. Our Leo
Club also donated a red exercise ball
with baby lion logo which represent
Leo Club. The ball was sponsored by
our Clubs Leo Advisor PP Diana Yeoh.
