Sutrons Low Rate Information Transmission (LRIT)

System is an effortless replacement for DOMSAT.

Overview
Sutrons GOES LRIT System captures real-time LRIT data from GOES Satellites,
ingests the data & distributes it over the internet.

Features

Sutron LRIT: No Processing Changes Required to change from DOMSAT

Full support for LRIT data from GOES East and GOES West.

Easy installation with the antenna mounted on a single post or patio

LRIT Provides DCS Data & GOES Imagery

mount and one cable feed to the receiver.

Visual & IR Images

Data transferred from the receiver to the host computer via a 12 Mbit/s
USB connection to ensure high speed and data integrity.

High-quality, high-reliability hardware and software for trouble-free, long-

Can be saved to TIFF, JPG, PNG

Automatic collection, zoom, geo-reference

term, continuous operation.

Distributes LRIT data to multiple LRGS systems simultaneously.

Simple interface to modify configuration & view status, just connect

Animations

Easy integration to web site

monitor & keyboard. (Remote status connect by SSH enabled on request.)

DCS Data

Windows-based XRIT Ingester software to capture and archive LRIT data,

LRGS ingests data from LRIT and merges

windows-based MacroPro software to post-process data, and windows-

it with other data sources you might have

based iDAP software to display and process images

(DRGS, NOAAPORT, DOMSAT, DDS, etc.)

Software displays & processes infra-red, visible & water vapor images.

LRIT Available on Both GOES East &

West Satellites

Combined data stream from all DCPs is sent

to both East & West GOES Satellites.
