Set Induction:
a. Place big letter cards (focus letters) on the floor
in a circle.
b. Play music.
Focus letters:
c. Get pupils to walk around the letter cards.

Step 1:
a. Introduce the phoneme /d/ by showing the action.
Jump and say /d/.
b. Demonstrate how to sound it out:
When you make the sound /d/, your upper teeth
touches your lower teeth.
Your tongue touches the upper teeth.
You push air out of your mouth.
Ask pupils to observe
