Request for sponsorship of IIT Bombay Alumni Association Events
The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay will hold its 50th Alumni Day on December 30th,
2012 along with its Class of 87 Silver Jubilee Reunion (SJRU) on December 29th & 30th 2012.
These two days mark a significant event in the lives of the alumni and this annual event
guarantees an elite gathering of distinguished alumni from around the world.
The Alumni Day is an annual event when alumni from the world over gather to thank their alma
mater, renew old friendships and make new ones. This year, the Alumni Day and Silver Jubilee
Reunion are special due to many reasons. It is the occasion when the SJRU batch announces
their batch Legacy project for IIT Bombay and the focus and attention of the Institute
community as well as the world at large is trained on IIT Bombay. It is also the time when a
simultaneous party is organised at all hostels of the Institute and alumni from far corners of the
globe congregate here. This year we also have other reunion batches on campus on Alumni
Day and multi track events are planned to attract a large number of alumni to campus on these
two days.
The two days are packed with activities at the picturesque IIT Bombay campus involving
faculty, alumni, students and Institute functionaries. We expect a gathering of 1000+ alumni
attendees on Alumni Day and SJRU. The packed two day program consists of a number of
sponsorship opportunities consisting of various cultural items, a Silver Jubilee Reunion
lunch, Alumni Day lunch, and a Gala Hostels Reunion Event and together creates an
excellent opportunity for Title sponsorship.
