NIHR Clinical Research Network GCP Programme: Call for additional Facilitators
The provision of accessible, relevant and high quality Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training
for research staff delivering our studies is a core objective for the Clinical Research Network
(CRN).
CRN: East Midlands is looking for New Facilitators to join an active community of dedicated
and knowledgeable practitioners committed to supporting excellent research
practice. Benefits include:

Facilitation skills development
Joining a national community of GCP Facilitators
Local networking opportunities
Opportunities to engage with local researchers in a learning setting.
Person Specification
You will be expected to have some training remit in your present role. Practice
based experience of working within a clinical research environment is also
important.
Facilitators will need to demonstrate:

A willingness to deliver interactive programmes of learning in GCP


Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with all members of the

research community
A sound subject understanding of the principles and practice of GCP and how they

relate to research delivery and/or research governance


Experience of implementing changes and improvements that relate to GCP quality

standards in your own practice


A collaborative and flexible approach to delivering GCP training in line with the

priorities and objectives of the Clinical Research Network, including the ability to
deliver GCP across the East Midlands
The capacity to deliver the programme within your current workload and the
support of your line manager
The ability to attend the Facilitator Development Programme on the following
dates
