January 15th
We will be having a sewing class each month on the THIRD THURSDAY
in the Youth Kitchen Area in the basement of the Family Life Center. If
you dont want to make the monthly project, bring a sewing project of your
own and enjoy the evening of fellowship and fun. Please sign up at the FLC
table if you plan to attend. Bring a yard or two of your favorite fabric,
scissors, and a sewing machine, if possible. Some of our monthly projects
will be pillowcases, draw string bag, aprons and coasters. Call Debbie
Holbrook at 859-582-2911 or e-mail at hlbrk@bellsouth.net if you have any
suggestions for projects or any questions you may have.

Walking Club 2015

Walking with Christ

Cost: $5.00
Open to those in 6th grade and above
Come in and walk as often as you like. Record
your mileage on your card each time you walk.
The more miles you walk the greater the reward
you will receive at the end of year.
15 laps = 1 mile

If you are interested (or know someone who would be) in facilitating a Christian
based aerobics class, a nutrition class, etc., let Dwayne know.

$45 ($30 lift ticket + $15 rental) Deadline: Sunday, January 11. Meet at the church at
6:30 pm and return to the church by 3:00 am.
Disciple Now, February 27 - March 1. This is a weekend where students come together for
a time of Bible study, fellowship, fun, food, and getting to know more about themselves and
each other and grow in their relationship with Christ. Students will be assigned to host homes
based on gender and age range (i.e., middle school & high school). Cost: $25. Deadline:
Sunday, February 8 (registration form, payment due). Sign-ups begin Sunday, January 11.
Summer Mission Trips 2015: Do you want your life to be changed? Sign up now.
KY Changers, Richmond, KY, June 13-19. For all students currently in grades 7-12.
Cost: $200. Deadline: Sunday, February 22 (with a $50 non-refundable deposit). Must
participate in Project 29 on April 11.
For Middle School: Student Life Mission Camp, Cedarville, OH (at Cedarville,
University), July 6-10. Cost: $319. Deadline: Sunday, January 25 (with a $60 nonrefundable deposit). Must participate in at least one Mi$$ion Po$$ible Opportunity.
For High School: PowerPlant, Cleveland, OH, June 27-July 3. Be working with a
church planter. Cost: $299. Deadline: Sunday, January 11 (with a $50 non-refundable
deposit). Must participate in at least two Mi$$ion Po$$ible Opportunities.
