Our spiritual pilgrimage begins as we depart US on our flight to Tel Aviv.

Welcome to Israel
Arrival in Ben Gurion Airport in Israel
Transfer to Tel Aviv
Drive through Tel Aviv, the city that never sleeps, and old city of Jaffa (depending on arrival
time)
Swim in the Mediterranean Sea (weather permitting)
Visit Duggit Coffee House
Enjoy dinner at the hotel
Overnight: Tel Aviv
Day 3: Monday, November 24th
Along the Coastline
Breakfast at the hotel
Drive north along the coastline. Drive by King Herod's ancient port city of Caesarea, seat of the
Roman governor Pontius Pilate
Go up to the Muchraka where the Prophet Elijah was confronting the emissaries of Baal
Tour Megiddo, the ancient fortified city and site of Armageddon
Visit Nazareth, the hometown of Jesus - Nazareth Village
Continue to the Sea of Galilee

Visit Kursi, which has been identified by tradition as the site where Jesus healed two men
possessed by demons

Drive northwards through the Hula Valley to Caesarea Philippi, the place of Peters confession

Tour the Golan Heights with a magnificent view over the Syrian Highlands

Jericho, The Dead Sea & Jerusalem

Drive through the Jordan Valley to the oldest city of Jerico
Meet Taysir Abu Saada, former Member of Yasser Arafat's forces, who became a Christian and
runs a Kindergarten in Jericho.
Enjoy lunch and visit a souvenir shop.
Swim and float in the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth
On your way back to Jerusalem, pass by Qumran, the place where the dead sea scrolls were
discovered
Check into your hotel and enjoy dinner
Overnight: Jerusalem
Day 6: Thursday, November 27th
Temple Mount, Hebron & Herodeon
Breakfast at the hotel
Visit the Temple Mount
Visit the Herodeon, a fortress built by King Herod, where his tomb was recently discovered
Visit the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron
Meet residents living in Judea, organized by CFOIC

Tour the Old citys Jewish Quarter

Have a late dinner at the hotel

Visit the Tomb of David on Mount Zion
Tour biblical Jerusalem: visit the City of David, the origins of Jerusalem where the city began
Visit the Temple Institute where you can see a model of the Temple of Solomon
Visit the Western Wall Tunnels where the second Temple walls are exposed, deep underground
very close to the Holy of Holies on the Temple Mount
Enjoy a Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant.

* LFBI Israel Discovery Mission Trip: We will be touring many biblical sites throughout Israel the last ten days of November, as we
visit our missionary contacts and make some new ones! Some of the contacts we hope to meet with are Evan Levine of Hatikva Project
(ministering to Jewish believers), Pastor Steven Khourys church in Jerusalem (ministering to Arab believers), Pastor Naim Khourys church in
Bethlehem (ministering to Arab believers), Tass Abu Saada (former member of Yassir Arafat's forces, who became a Christian and runs a
Kindergarten in Jericho) and Jewish residents living in Judea, organized by Christian Friends of Israeli Communities. This trip will be very
diverse and multi-faceted. It is our desire to represent Christ as an example of those who are in Christ where there is neither Jew or
Gentile. Pastor Alan Shelby will also be teaching us a series on Israel; and this class can be counted for credit in LFBI.
** Israel Missionary Contacts: We have been working on missionary contacts in Israel for about 4-5 years.. Pastor Jay Grimwood
originally gave us the Khourys names.. We began communicating with them, and about 3-4 years ago Pastor Steven Khoury came and spoke in
our church. He was awesome and has the same philosophy as we do. In fact his father Naim was trained under Vic Beacham sp (amazing story
too).. We have been financially supporting them ever since, and a group of 10 from MBT went over on a mission trip the Khourys set up 2 years
ago Here are their web sites: http://www.holylandmissions.org/ and http://www.theanchorchurch.org/.. Evan Levine is a Messianic
Christian that we met several years ago and has also spoke in our church. We currently support his work, the Hatikva Project; they are helping
poor Jewish believers.. Tass AbuSaada is Ben AbuSaadas dad (Ben is a pastor at Tim Howeys church).. He wrote the book Once an Arafat
Man and is affiliated with many from our sister churches.. Christian Friends of Israel Communities is a group we met last year at John Hagees
Annual Conference for Israel at Washington.. They are helping orthodox Jewish communities in Israel.. We are also trying to set up meetings
with several other missionaries, and hope to finalize that soon... It was decided not to have any of our missionaries sponsor this trip in order to get
a more balanced point of view from all groups. If youre looking for firsthand information on an organization/missionary to help support in
Israel, this is the trip for you.
